I can't understand why we "ppl' put or allow these things to happen to us. But, I just let go of a man that I have truly loved for the past nine months..he did nothing for me but bring me down and hurt me...and, I finaly showed him that I "can" stand on my own two feet and he, is now and will always be alone...I feel sorry for him..but love myself more and more each day...thank you for posting this.
I always love hearing this song and enjoyed seeing it on Letterman! Her voice is clear, sweet, and even though she can blow, she makes you feel emotion in her songs and the performance. Great Job.

Exceptional voice, amazing talent. I was impressed with Hudson after her performance in Dreamgirls, but I did wonder how she would do outside a very controlled and edited studio environment. Hearing this, it leaves no doubt whatsoever that she is a superb performer who owns the song and the stage much like her character in the movie. The beginning of final note is very slightly shaky, but most of it is so powerful and beautiful, I was grinning like an idiot at the screen.
