So, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe since Memento can search their continuous trap, if you activate Apophis while you have one face up it can just be a free effect negate.

The deck in a way is nonlinear. Very punishing if you misplay. Depending on your hand and how you get handtrapped you have to navigate that also.
