Our locals has “proxy” staples section (legit pretty high quality ones) that we are allowed to use for play in their tournaments for this very reason. The owner hates how in order to play certain decks you need a loan, so they went “Fck it” and lets us use proxies for expensive cards we can’t afford. (They do this for other card game tourneys they host too). Dunno if they are allowed to do that, but we don’t care as we don’t have to spend 100s on cardboard just to play the decks we want to play. For how shitty Konami can be with card rarity gating, at least locals have our communities back around here.

Konami needs to change how they make the sets on the TCG. They need to add some somehow useful common cards, the majority is fodder, we need things like when they did weak but decent archetypes like the Deskbots, they were weak and restrictive but they had synergy, nowadays the packs are so full of garbage that we don't have Sneak Peaks (drafts) anymore. And we need multiple rarities, the new Mulcharmy and Ulcanix only being secret doesn't benefit the players, I'd love to have the OCG treatment multiple rarities for cards, I don't care getting a Super Rare in every single pack if the good cards are almost always Secrets.
I remember when a card like Pankratops or Parallel ExCeed released as a common. Actually good cards that didn't make the whole pack feel like garbage. The only time commons matter now is if it's tied to an archtype but even then it has to be a combo piece.
TCG product sucks so much, man. Why can't we have mixed rarity spread like ocg. I always feel scammed by core sets because you are essentially paying for a single holo, which will be worth pennies at best 90% of the time.
I'm done with yougioh till next year, at minimum. I'm only watching revs cause I like his content, but I don't know if I will play Yu-Gi-Oh again anytime soon

To be fair, lacrima's censor is not really that bad. Like the censor actually makes her dress still looks cool and beautiful. The censor isn't really that bad if we compare to what they did to ha des. Like changing horn with some big ball which results of making dark ruler looks weird. Censored lacrima is still cool even tho i still prefer the original art. If they think it's too much that need to be censored, than why print ocg in original artwork but not in tcg 😅

Heosvarog could be interesting for Cyber Dragon decks. Mostly as a first turn setup play. Hmm, this makes it interesting to play Cyberload Fusion as well, to summon it on the opponent's turn 🤔
You could build whole Battlewasp deck by opening enough of these boosters, no kidding. I've got Battlewasp - Sachi the Ceremonial bow and couldn't been happier. Maybe i'll collect Battlewasps one day, but not today.
@@nicoofthenight8403 the tin isn’t a core set, core sets are the big sets without any reprints that come out 4 or so times a year, like AGOV, PHNI, INFO, DUNE, CYAC, etc. Also from what I hear the tins weren’t short printed, but there was severe clumping and overprinting, so a handful of cards were overprinted (which just equates to most cards being short printed including the chase secrets), and the clumping made that worse by making some cases have the same secrets in multiple packs.
Another reason to extend my hiatus of the game. Really sad man like every set just had all its good cards max rarity in the tcg and if it’s not high rarity but really good they hit it on the banlist immediately.
Once again friend, when he doesn’t know, part of the blue eyes is not a blue eyes card. It is always a millennium card and therefore is not suitable by effects that read blue eyes. It is also not summon by those effects, but you can use generic cards that will search it or summon it like return of the dragon lord trade in.And melody, also cursed fire king is not a fire king card. It is a tuner dark/ fire fiend Support card. It is not suitable with any other card in the fire king deck.

Meanwhile don't ask me how Perlereino was :) It has been very obvious since the removal of Ghosts from core sets that the Secret Rares go to meta/staples and not Lore/Anime/Manga archetypes unless they themselves are meta.
