The more I hear and see, the more I respect your art. Your ability to play in unison, by ear, so elegantly ... it's like watching hummingbirds on slow motion camera flit about. Truly unique. Thank you for sharing with the world.
*eu também encontrei por acidente, recomendações do TH-cam, já me inscrevi e estou compartilhando geral, uma arte dessa não pode ficar só pra mim! Vou compartilhar com alegria!*
Another superb performance. The memorization of the glasses coupled with expertly sliding the notes in quick sequence makes it masterpiece of crystal harp beauty.
Astounding! I'd just returned from a concert (four hands on one piano, plus two harps: Bach's "Sheep May Safely Graze" on over 300 struck-strings was part of the programme) when I found this. What a beautiful way to complete the evening! :-)
Son los mejores y me encanta esta cancion me volvi adicto gracias por hacer todo el trabajo que les costo gracias por subirlo y poder escuchar esta bonita cancion gracias a ustedes.
Thanks Phat for your comment and kind words. Answering your question - we use pure water, even very pure, because distilled. However, the secret that everyone who plays the wine glasses knows, and not everyone who does not deal with this instrument on a daily basis, lies in washing their hands very thoroughly with soap before playing and not touching anything except the glasses. The type of soap also matters, and here as many theories as there are musicians. In our opinion, the more ordinary soap, the better.
@@GlassDuo Hmmm... That stands to reason that clean hands produce more joy. haha ;D Oil and dirt free skin would seem to have better traction. I bet even your fingerprints come into play. Thank you for sharing your joy :)
@@GlassDuo " washing their hands very thoroughly with soap before playing and not touching anything except the glasses" Exactly: The secret is having *nothing* but water between your skin and the glass.... and as phatbassanchor says, " Oil and dirt free skin ... have better traction".
@@GlassDuolease forgive my ignorance: I often see people who play glass harp periodically re-dip their fingers into some water to keep them from drying out. I haven’t seen you do that throughout the whole piece which has a lot of notes. How do you keep your fingers from drying out?
How often we need to wet our hands depends on many factors. This piece is quite short, which is more important than how many notes there are to play. Because the tempo is very fast and there is no way to re-dip your hands in the meantime, we need to wet the glasses and hands well before playing
Very close is the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, the only Savior And this is eternal life: that they know the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John 17:3 So those who gladly received his word were baptized; and on that day nearly three thousand souls were added. Acts 2:41 Look, watch and pray, for you do not know when the time will come. Mark 13:33

Süper, mükemmel.💐💐💐💐💐
These two must practice for hours/days
Beautiful performance! Something about Bach being done on glass is just ethereal.

Dear Mr & Ms Glassduo,
I could look at 57 glasses for about 1,000 years and never consider that they were made from sand…

You guys HAVE to play 'Ich ruf zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ' BWV 639 by Bach on the glass harp. I feel like it was composed just for this instrument
