He was basically “riding” the Elizabeth line by passing through Farringdon, TCR, then Bond Street without actually travelling on a Purple Train

Victoria and northern
- Met line (purely for the fast service between Harrow, Finchley Rd and Baker St
- Bakerloo (is a nice alternative to the central line for travelling to Oxford St - as it goes to Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus and the Charring Cross / Aldwych area)
- Northern line (which contrary to popular belief, I feel has better stock than the jubilee)
Bro you could have took the circle line direct or take the circle to barbican walk to farringdon or go to farringdon and switch for Elizabeth line

Besides, the whole point of the unusual route is to go to all the stations that will be on Elizabeth Line between Liverpool Street and Paddington but the long way round
