My son was stillborn at 26 weeks. He was 1 pound, 1 ounce. He kicked like crazy the last two hours before I went to the hospital. 😢 A little girl born the same night, same weight, made it. I was born at 26 weeks. Two and a half months early. I’m here typing this today. I’m alive, when I came out that early, I was alive then
I was also born at 26 weeks!
My son made it to 27 weeks gestation and passed. I had to give birth to his sleeping body. It's very common these days for women to have failed pregnancies but you won't see them very often because we don't post it every single time it happens. Because I have them permission to do an autopsy, I now know it is because I have blood issues, mainly clotting problems and more specifically APS syndrome which is known to cause miscarriages and stillbirth. Abortions do save lives at times. My blood creates a lot of problems for me and also the fetus if I do become pregnant again. I had a stroke and seizure 6 months after I gave birth to my sleeping son which was a result from the pregnancy. Birth control can fail, moms may have life threatening issues and be surprised by a pregnancy that may put their lives in danger or result in their own death. I wish I could have had my son early at 26 weeks, even the chances of survival are not great.

We received into a our home a beautiful teeny 4 pound preemie foster son. He was and still is worthy of life. He was born 6 weeks premature. For the first 3 months of his life, he slept right next to me and I fed him every 2 hours just an ounce of formula that his teeny stomach could hold. I met his birth mom 6 months later and she cried in my arms with gratitude for all I did for her son. And we continued to take care of him till he was 2 years old. He’s now 13 and almost 6 feet tall !

@@jameskirk3no, I use to volunteer at a hospital and they were doing a tour for 3rd graders. I was called on to help one of the tour guides with the majority of the kids, kinda keep an eye on things. The tour guide brought the kids to a poster of a pregnant woman showing the biological makeup of the pregnancy. Well one of the boys pointed and said, "Is that the baby in her tummy?" The tour guide said, "no its a fetus, it's not a baby yet. It's basically a glob of cells forming into a baby. In this stage of pregnancy the fetus isn't considered living." I'm sitting back like, "bruh...." cause I was taught that all life begins at conception. And the fact these kids are being subliminally set up to go pro-choice lol

I’ve watched this lady on a couple of videos now. Her being able to stay calm, not attack, and just use simple comparisons is amazing.
I get panic attacks just watching but that’s due to a personal experience I had on campus watching a bunch of pro-abortionists freshmen harass a pregnancy stand that didn’t offer abortions. They offered few ultrasounds and newborn supplies, like diapers, formula and clothing and strollers because they had ‘hope’ in their slogan. But saying that unborn women mattered too made these children so outraged they berated them for an hour.

I think its crazy that people are arguing which life means more and then cheering like they made a great point. Both life means just as much as the other. Both deserve to live and experience life.
No, the mother has a right to stay alive and not undergo a pregnancy that can kill her or give her lifelong diabetis, destroy her abdominal muscle by C-section, or cut open her lady parts so the seam between the butthole and ladyhole doesn't rip instead. Also having a baby literally changes the DNA of the woman. If the daddy has curly hair than in pregnancy the woman's hair can permanently change from straight to curly, you can only imagine how ugly you can become if your rapist was the ugliest man alive. For singers pregnancy can change the voice which can be devastating to suddenly lose your feminine voice and have a deeper mom voice. The feet of the woman grows at least a size bigger during pregnancy!! A woman has a right to retain a healthy living body and not be completely destroyed, mutilated through DNA changes and incisions/snips/cuts, or medically compromised for life, for a child already set up for failure by not having a nuclear family.
Pregnancy is no joke. Just because plenty of women are willing to risk all that to bring life into the world doesn't mean it's ethical to force other women to do the same.

It’s a false equivalency. Clearly we as a society value certain life above others. Most people would say they value a horses life over a flies live. So we certainly value a human life over a cancerous tumor’s life.
And last I checked, I never went to prison for murdering flies. But if I killed a horse without reason, I would likely get a massive fine and have to serve some time in jail/prison. If I murdered a human, I’d go away for a long time.

Unassisted pregnancy/birth can have extremely high death rate; both preeclampsia & diabetes (which are very commonly developed during pregnancy) can cause severe organ damage. About 14 thousand women experience uterine prolapse during childbirth, which is deadly if not handled immediately (about 50% of mothers experience uterine prolapse later in life; which while not life-threatening, does severely impact quality of life & basic human functions like going to the toilet). Around 300 thousand women die every year due to childbirth (cancer kills 600 thousand people in the US each year). Pregnancy is anything but simple & harmless.
I won't start a debate on what "life" is as it will be a subjective matter; I am just going to say that a grown human is an independent organism, while an embryo is a parasitic one entirely dependant on the host body.
The issue with pro-life is that the movement polices what other people do (a pregnant person is obligated to give birth), while pro-choice allows an individual to act according to their own beliefs meaning they are not obligated to abort their first baby.
There is also the issue of quality of life. No one gets an abortion for the fun of it, chances are they are unable to take care of a child. Forcing that person to bring another life into this world just to ruin it has no logic behind it... Currently there are so many children in foster care & the system itself is absolutely horrid that you'd think someone who cares about a "life" of a child would direct their efforts there, but it seems the care for one's "life" ends the moment it leaves the womb...
As a mother, a fetus is living, I felt my son's move and I saw them grow before they were born. ❤️

@johnrunyon7798 don't start with that. Dehumanizing biological women by calling them birthing person is offensive. Also a child is given a biological sex at birth, either male or female. Gender or what I consider to be the confusion of personality into gender is built up over time. Teach your children their biological sex and what that means, but that they don't have to resort to gender norms if they don't want to.

Yeah I hope to see a world where science involving birth control methods becomes completely optimized and education about birth control and how to have safe sex instead of forcing abstinence on people who aren’t going to listen. The best way to prevent abortions to ensure people aren’t getting pregnant. Teenagers and young adults should be using two forms of birth control and avoiding any activity during potential ovulation windows.

The mother is the only one who can decide over the fetus' life because the fetus is using her body and resources, and she has the authority to decide if she doesn't want it. Doctors have a saying, you aren't dead until you are warm and dead. So often warming a body without a heartbeat will bring someone back. In the past that was the purpose of the wake. Although I don't know if they knew the importance of warming the body, they knew better than to bury someone without giving them a chance of "waking."

If the patient can't have the apnea test due to low BP or other factors. But none of this answers the question on when is someone considered not alive. If a mother was pregnant and the zygote failed to travel through the fallopian tube, she would fall ill go to the ER and an OBgyn or surgeon would cut the part of the fallopian tube where the zygote was stuck, take it out and attempt to repair the tube. I know a woman who had this happen to her many times. It was sad. Is she a mother? She was the mother of those zygotes, who almost killed her. Did the doctor murder a person when he took out the zygote? Etopic pregnancies do sometimes produce a live birth. Did the zygote deserve to have a fighting chance? Or should we just err on the side of safety for the mother?
If someone hits a pregnant woman and kills her baby, is he as guilty as someone who kills the mother? These are not easy questions to answer. I don't have all the answers and be afraid of people who pretend to have them all. Be afraid of simple answers to complex problems. I am not splitting hairs. Are we all just a lump of cells? We are living organisms. Not just a "lump of cells" A fetus doesn't require a signal from the mother to grow. Nourishment is the only requirement for development. Therefore proving it is a living organism, not merely a lump of cells.

And yes, fetus is a term for that stage of life while still inside the womb. Your response is so nonsensical that it would be comical if not for the fact that you actually believe your own lies. If it were for "woman's health," it would be one thing. Do yourself a favor and look up the percentage of these procedures that are actually done for "woman's health." Over 99% of them are done for women's convenience. But once again, you will twist the science to try and desensitize and justify the taking of life for another's convenience. There are so many contradictions in the arguments you use to justify your belief that it is just some inconsequential procedure. To say it feels no pain when the development of the nervous system begins early on during embryonic development is another lie you people use with no scientific backing. Medicine is not on your side. To even call it medicine is quite a stretch. Most respectable people in my field distance themselves from the ones willing to perform these procedures on demand.
