Teaching others anatomy and science through his TH-cam channel, Ninja Nerd Science, started as a passion project for Zachary Murphy, MS/PA. Now, as he studies to become a Physician Assistant, he hopes to provide his future patients with a more comprehensive understanding of their symptoms and diagnoses.

Personally, I want to thank you because I found you about a little over a year ago--when the whole world was silent during the introduction to the COVID-19 pandemic. Somehow I came across your video and instantly I smiled! See, I saw myself in you. I was often laughed at because I had different colored pens, writing on paper towels, scratch paper and anything I could find; markers for dry erase boards with pictures and words in every color available, from top left corner all the way to the bottom right... When I saw you, it normalized me for my teaching method. It may not mean much, but it was special and much-needed for me. Thank you so much, please keep up the awesome work! One of the best ever 😇🙏

I started to follow you because I'm working as a military personal trainer. I saved people lives during my last year here in Italy thank to my military knowledge, and I would like to improve my knowledge in motorial science in order to give the best suggestions I could to recovery from many muscolar and psicology problems. He's helped me through mortuary school. I'm close to graduating and it's because of people like Zachary who devoted time and effort to helping us all understand the science. If it weren't for his diagrams and models I would be up shits creek. Science isn't focused on in inner-city public schools of NYC. I had to learn my sciences in college at the age of 29. Between NinjaNerd and The Institute of Anatomy, my life has progressed for the better in understanding the human body!

I am a RN working on a CV and COVID IMU. I plan on going to NP school in about 5 years and started watching his videos. It has really helped me understand what I am seeing on my unit. In doing so, I am much better at educating the patient and having a knowledgeable discussion with the treatment team. Bottom line: best use of my time.

It's also helped me speak "doctor" talk which means I get my complex medical needs taken much more seriously.
