Yeah h22a’s are the peak of 90s Honda builds. It took the mighty k to replace them but h series seem to hit different. They are very raw and torque heavy. My gsr has the h22a in it and it feels totally unique compared to every other series engine I’ve had
On front wheel drive cars it's more or less mandatory. The wheels will spin like crazy and you have to wait for them to have a certain amount of grip. If you instantly shift your sprint will die in the next gear.
@@mitchelllight4085 depends what you wanna do. The b16 gearbox has close ratio so it keeps you at the top of your powerband, good for acceleration. The LS gearbox has longer gears, has a higher top speed. The gsr is a balance in the middle. people don’t like to use super close ratios for boost because it usually results in more spinning, harder(not impossible) to efficiently put down power. That’s why you see a lot of boosted K’s go from 6 speed to 5 speed.
wtf are you talking about, aint no prelude pulls harder than that. simple math and a brain will tell you the power to weight ratio there is not way a prelude will win. The Prelude weighs 2954lbs to 3042lbs, while a 96-00 civic weighs 2,339 to 2,612 lbs
@@AlldayAndrew21 hes saying their might be something wrong with how the engine is running, not that a prelude is faster in general. It was a downhill he was driving on anyways
@AlldayAndrew21 My h22a4 eg bone stock pulls way harder, I own an h22a1 prelude, b20 vtec ek, h23a bluetop vtec 4th gen prelude. Wtf you talking about? I own all of these cars, multiple dohc vtec engines and Frankensteins. This is sad. I paid for dyno tests, i studied my own 1/4 times and documented my progress. Get out of here.

nice, that civic runs just as hard as my k20 hatch

This is some great shifting as well
Just fire! 🔥🔥🔥
Wow, what a ride!
What are the engine specs ??
2.2 liter Vtec 136kw/185hp standard.

Nu cred sa fie ATMO - E turbo H22 ?
Why do you let the limiter bounce so much? Drives me nuts

went down a mountain for acceleration test, lmao. talk about scewed results
Not bad for just an h swap
Did I see 80 speed limit 😂
Is this a Stock h22?
No stock??

Is that the standard H22 transmission with a short final ?
Might be b series
@@theblvckart3995 Think so, could be S9b
Most likely an H2b swap. Most ppl don’t go for a straight h series swap cause the transmissions aren’t the best
I have an h22a4 and going to swap to manual so which B series would be the best to use??

Gotta be b series

downhill roll, ahahahaha it's a bullshit

rollind down hill, thats cheating lol bot
A stock prelude in its heavy chassis pulls harder. Setup is wrong, or motor is toast.

Honda barley does 100mph really slow. Fixed the title for you
A tiny engine with 4 cylinders is in that car btw, quit undermining it when you know it’s probably faster than your own car lol

Hi
Is this motor abs.stock?
Does it has any mods (fidanza flywheel, catback, balance shaft eliminator kit...)
And how many lbs?
Thx
:)
The lesser weight than a Prelude/Accord is the fastest mod i think.
