Bonnie and Clyde used to hide out in Conroe Texas. Clyde had a cousin Ennis that lived there and is buried in the area off 1314 in Conroe. There's a bridge in the area that they would meet. The frame is still there. WD Jones who ran with Bonnie and Clyde is buried in the same cemetery that my husband is buried.
Absolutely enjoyed your tour...I'd watch it again and recommend it...my father was very aware of them and tbe many other 30's gangsters of the day...by far Bonnie and Clyde are the most intriguing...you displayed many sites I was aware of but never saw what they looked like...the area where the two motorcycle policemen were murdered...and what the updated look of it...and I agree that the Barrow filling Station home should be a historic landmark...for US historic purposes only ...but taxes somehow or donations would have to suffice...I also was amazed of the squatters area...the splendor of it leaves a lot to one's imagination...Thank you for your hard word...!!
Your comment is much appreciated! I remember This one took a lot of work and traveling around Dallas to make so I’m really glad you enjoyed it and appreciate it!!! Thank you very much 😎👍👍
Clyde's dad built that shack while in West Dallas. He bought the land and then had the shack carted by mules to the spot where it is (Actually, "was." It's since been torn down).
Dad bought land, built a shack, worked hard. But his two boys took another route in life. Isn't it odd how this happens at times? I knew a couple of guys like his kids, not as bad, but never did anything with their lives but their parents were top-notch.
This was a awesome veiw! Nicely done and so well articulated! What a beautiful job from start to finish of 2 of the most notorious outlaws to have ever been! Appreciate your efforts! Cheers ✌
That building was torn down April 21st 2022. It was supposed to be made a landmark, and was in the process but due to the covid outbreak it was pushed back. Someone decided to tear the building down anyway before the paper work was pushed through. Now it's being investigated as of why.
It's Matt Dragen. This is my new TH-cam channel and I hope you are doing well. This one focuses on location videos and Movie reviews. Have a great day.
Only 4 of the Family members lived at the Gas Station. All the older Brothers and Sisters moved away from the Farm. Then later the rest of the family moved to Dallas.
As a French Man i have seen 2 movies about Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow! The first one with Faye Donaway as Bonnie and warren Beaty as Clyde! The second one is more recent the titlie of this movie is The Highway Men with Kevin Costner as Hammer ! But i'm sorry i don't remember the name of the other actor who was his friend in the movie! But unfortunaly i've never read any book about the life of B and C ! I'de like to! Thank you very much indeed for this very interesting and very impressive video!!! Good job ! Well done! I learned a lot about these two people!!! And i have a great thought for their victims!!! God Bless Them!!! A French Man ...

Really interesting video! It's amazing to see the persons behind the legends in this way - awesome work. I didn't really know much about them in fact, except for rudimentary outlines of the story.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed :). That's the one thing I love about doing these vlogs is showing people new places and giving them an incite into new things!

Nick, this was very, very interesting. Thank you for tracing their paths and dispersing historical images when possible. **In no way does it excuse but, it explains Clyde's anger. Bonnie seems to have had more growing up. It's ironic that even in death there was disparity between the two... So sad that so many people died 🙏who got in their way.

Thank you Shawn! The story of Bonnie and Clyde was always interesting to me. Of course in reality they were terrible people but I find the story interesting 😎👍
Ive been to bonnie and clydes grave, i think in 2012, and clydes cemetery had a padlock on the gate and we couldn't get in, but bonnie was in a nice place, right next to her mother.

I was shocked at the end of the movie the way they were gunned down although after seeing the state the real car was in I can imagine it was a hell of a lot worse for the real Bonnie & Clyde than they dipicted in the movie

Sir, I enjoyed your video, but part of it is incorrect....Clyde was born in Tellico, Tx a farming community just east of Ennis...that's where his family lived until he was 12 when they moved to west Dallas...he had a Barrow uncle that lived in Eureka, Tx...about 8 miles east of Corsicana...Clyde lived with that uncle for a short time and he went to school in the nearby community of Navarro...some of the famous photos of Bonnie & Clyde where they were "hamming" it up with the guns were taken very close to his uncle's place near Eureka...that road is called Barrow Rd....where Clyde's uncle lived is now covered by the huge Richland Chambers Lake...I'm from Corsicana
