musicaltheatergeek79 thanks. This one took about a month to shoot due to all locations be scattered around. I actually got a flat tire right in front of the empty lot where Bonnie used to live. Haha
I lived in Southlake at the corner of Dove and Whitechaple in the early 70's. The Casillas family lived in the small house where the farmer said he witnessed the ambush. That was totally impossible to see Dove from that house. My friend Robert who lived there showed me a jar under the sink that had a chunk of cheek from the shoot out pickled in alcohol. Possibly part of Wheelers face after Methvin shot point blank. An elderly widow was our nearest neighbor, remembered the event. But also stated a police car overturned at the intersection. Can't find a record of that.
As a former inmate at the Eastham Unit in Lovelady, Texas, we were told verty interesting stories concerning Clyde Barrow . Most people are not aware that at one time the Easthsam Prison was onthe cover of Newsweek magazine as the worst prison in the US. Back in the 20's and 30's prison life on Eastham was only brutal. Men used to make deals with each other to chopoff each others hands and feet so they could not be forced to work. 16,000 acres of dense forest and every inch was cleared by hand using dull axes. Those axes were still in use in the 80's because I've used them. Clyde Barrow chopped off a toe to get out of the field. When I was there were had to chop into manageable lengths oak trees tghat had blown down. We chopped them into logs about 15 feet long by 4 ft in diameter. 8 to 10 men would pick up the logs and carry them to a point they coukd be lifted onto trucks. I was in the "new Eastham" completed in 1954. It was called, "The Bloody Ham". That place still haunts me.
I really loved this... thank you so much for all your research , travel and hard work putting this together for everybody... I drove by the cemetery yesterday where Bonnie Parker is buried BUT , regretfully it has been CLOSED to the PUBLIC and IS LOCKED ! as I drove down Webb Chapel I did notice on my right Hildago Road or Street , on my right , drove down there.. made another right onto an alley with a small parking lot that is part of some apartments.. I did not find the place until twilight and next time I go back I will look for a better entrance and bring other people with me... it happens to be in a very busy area with lots of stores , apartments , and some houses . If anybody knows of a new way to get in since one cannot just go in the front gate it would be great if they could explain this to me . my only complaint about this great video is that he doesn't show you exactly where her grave is and it makes it harder for us to visit her grave once inside.. I think another vid did show you how to access it but you need to locate some of the location markers such as the main building which may or may not even be there now . I can't believe how many times I drove by Route 114 and Dove Road and had no clue that was the spot where there's two four officers were shot by Clyde's crew.. incredible . there are some very old people in Lake Dallas who used to claim they had heard stories of Bonnie and Clyde and his gang hiding out and killing time in Lake Dallas which is on I-35 just north of Lewisville .. the town is on the lake and it may have looked different back then because it was a smaller Lake later connect it to five or four others in the area by the military engineers to create one huge Lake which by the military engineers to create one huge Lake which is Lewisville Lake . It's a shame Bonnie and Clyde were responsible for so many murders... would have been a fun story if they had only robbed banks but never physically harmed anyone . I'm not saying that robbing banks is okay... and sticking a gun in someone's face can traumatize them for life even if you don't use it on them .

I went to both Bonnie and Clyde's grave sites today 6/2/2019. Bonnie's was as seen in your video, Clyde's was not. The entire cemetery was horribly overgrown with weeds 3 feet tall (very sad state).
Dad would tell me stories about going into town. " Rare " they would see Bonnie and Clyde sitting on the curb "side of the store" eating cheese and crackers....
My first job in the old side of Dallas area was a Stained Glass Window business. My bosses and I were eating lunch one day and telling each other about dreams we had. I told them my dream about being Bonnie Parker. They freaked the heck out and fired me on the spot! I asked why and they said the building we were in used to be the morgue where they brought Bonnie Parker's body when she died! Then I freaked the heck out!😱🤔😮💨
around 7:11 - this is NOT the bank they robbed. The bank (Henry's Bank) was on the Towne Square, but flip the camera 180 degrees. The bank was on the far adjacent right corner. It no longer exists because of the tornado. This IS NOT the bank. I was raised in Lancaster. This not the bank. The RP Henry Bank eventually became a curio-type shop. When the tornado blew it down, all that remained was the original vault. I think some of the original floor tile remained for awhile. I haven't been there in years, so I don't know what's left - if anything. But this is definitely not the bank Clyde and Hamilton robbed. It's on the opposite corner.
kincaide67 I kinda thought I might be off but every thing I looked up just said town square and there’s only one bank now. There is a totally empty lot with foundation
@@drivewaytv4400 No problem at all. Like I said, I did enjoy the video. Very informative and executed quite well. It is difficult to find the spot of the Henry Bank if you're not from the area, as it is nothing but a vacant spot now. There used to be a foundation there with original floor tiles, but I'm not sure if even that exists anymore. It's interesting to note that this robbery was the one that split Clyde and Hamilton. You can find online 2 letters (one from Hamilton, and one from Clyde) where they discuss the Lancaster robbery. Thanx for the uploading this vid and best of luck to you. Take care. I'll check out your others videos.
All you need to know about Bonnie and Clyde is this: They were a perfect storm of poverty, fantasy, lunacy, incompetence and they died. How they were killed exactly is almost irrelevant as it was inevitable. Like the cold air from Canada meeting the warm air from The Gulf. No good can come from it.
Not to many people think about those in the past that were outlaws or sinners but if they truly believed in their heart that Jesus died for our sins and they repented that we will see them in heaven. Jesus came for all and no matter what you do if you have breath AND ask for forgiveness you will be saved.
If you watch “A Nice Place to Visit,” a Twilight Zone episode, you get an idea of what happens with murderers. There’s many mansions, and to get the best you have to live the best you know. Bonnie knew some things, and so did Clyde. In one article I read, the person, W.D. Jones, a member of the gang at one time, said that Clyde prayed. But, with knowledge comes accountability. This life is for us to prepare to meet God. Heavenly Father forgives for sure -- but you can’t go around killing people. “Thou shalt not kill.” Jesus taught about getting rid of the traits that would lead to murder.
Great vid, Its sad how those two lived such a violent life and we kind of look at them now like they were almost hero's but they were murders and ruined several lives of the Families of the folks they killed.
The government has and still does more killing than anyone has..i don't know why the American people haven't put a stop to the criminals we have today.called government..tyrants,thugs.
Now I'm on my way to Bonnie Parker's grave site to do the exact same thing!! I read with a lot of happiness that she didn't die right away and was struggling to breath as her lungs were filling with blood. God forgives, Texas Rangers don't bitch!
Lancaster, TX is my birth home. I still live here today. I'm 53 now. The bank you showed as the bank that Clyde and Raymond Hamilton robbed is the wrong location. The bank you showed, was the original "White" Bank. And later, the First National Bank. The bank that Clyde and Raymond Hamilton robbed, was the "Henry Bank". It was privately owned by the R.P. Henry family. and was located at the SouthEast end of the square as you left the square on the East side. A 1994 tornado destroyed the Henry Bank building. There is nothing there now. Just to say it again, the bank building that you showed, with the white columns, was the old "White" bank. and later the First National Bank......not the Henry Bank that "the Barrow Gang" robbed. If you need to get in touch with me, Im at kckaine@msn.com
Poor Bonnie, her only crime was through association ....other than breaking Clyde out of jail by smuggling in a hand gun for him. Back then you weren't Innocent until proven guilty evidently .....they were slaughtered .

Ted Hinton was the one who helped recognise bonnie and Clyde seconds before they were executed. She served him food, he served her death
Dad would tell me stories about going into town. " Rare " they would see Bonnie and Clyde sitting on the curb "side of the store" eating cheese and crackers....
Lawnpro KING where at?
@@drivewaytv4400 just around the Dallas area, Farmersville, Lavon
Son,what ever you do,don’t sell that cow
That movie has been on a lot this month and I keep saying I'm not going to watch it again and I keep ending up watching it again each time
My first job in the old side of Dallas area was a Stained Glass Window business. My bosses and I were eating lunch one day and telling each other about dreams we had. I told them my dream about being Bonnie Parker. They freaked the heck out and fired me on the spot! I asked why and they said the building we were in used to be the morgue where they brought Bonnie Parker's body when she died! Then I freaked the heck out!😱🤔😮💨
That’s crazy
That’s for the post. Good video!

around 7:11 - this is NOT the bank they robbed.
It was Ted Hinton some say he had a crush on Miss Parker. Would later on be one of her killers.
Your stabilizer is not level, you need to adjust it.
Unfortunately the old station was recently torn down .
which station is this? so sad
Can I buy it? Is it 4 sale?
All you need to know about Bonnie and Clyde is this: They were a perfect storm of poverty, fantasy, lunacy, incompetence and they died. How they were killed exactly is almost irrelevant as it was inevitable. Like the cold air from Canada meeting the warm air from The Gulf. No good can come from it.
It's kinda sad how they live and ran away from the law. Just thinking how they would live in fear of getting caught everyday.
Sissy Girl oh yeah. Probably constant anxiety, and nerves being shot.
what town were you in at 5: 20

I don't believe in the bible the bible is like swiss cheese lots of holes
Wish you people stop talking about your imaginary god if you can't see him or touch him then he do exist
@@mitchellhibbard2856 lol spoken like a true child...
I love how Americans keep there history and us uk that doesn’t
Garrett ? He went to Las Cruces.
dks13827 he was in Lancaster before he was ever involved with billy the kid
Now I'm on my way to Bonnie Parker's grave site to do the exact same thing!! I read with a lot of happiness that she didn't die right away and was struggling to breath as her lungs were filling with blood. God forgives, Texas Rangers don't bitch!
God damn Robert downing jr
This guy kind of resembles Clyde if he ditched the specs and facial hair . Lol could be related
Clyde didn't grow up at the gas station.
1620 singleton doesn't exist, wrong address.
rogeeeferrari oh gee. How did I put that? Guess I need to proof read better
johnny Depp youtuber now?
Not all of America, just the United States.
Didnt they give to the poor?
If you need to get in touch with me, Im at kckaine@msn.com
kckaine thanks. Someone corrected me already. When looking for the bank online all I got was the bank I showed. Was confused on that one
NOt a very good neighborhood, but it's proximity to downtown Dallas is insane.
1221 singleton was the address
pipefitter103 yeah, I somehow typed the wrong address.
Bonnie's epithet is kinda wrong since they went around robbing and murdering.
Poor Bonnie, her only crime was through association ....other than breaking Clyde out of jail by smuggling in a hand gun for him. Back then you weren't Innocent until proven guilty evidently .....they were slaughtered .
im related to Bonnie she is a cousin, so is Jesse James
John Love for real? That’s pretty cool
@@drivewaytv4400 It's "cool" being related to killers? If I were, it's the last thing I'd ever tell anybody.
People always claim this type of nonsense.

Clyde never lived there
Bro you look like john dillinger lol
Of all the money they stole what happened to it?
BlackAnvil47 well they gave money to families and from what I read, they would rob a lot of small country gas stations and markets. People like Dillinger made a lot more from his stealing than Bonnie and Clyde
William Bonny-Bonnie Parker say that five times fast.
Although outlaws, they should be placed together
LET ME GO home Bonnie & @ €££¥. I wasn'€' horn at the tome.
Halp cops hi
So sad that they had to live their lives hiding and in fear
ItsJustKage well yeah, but they didn’t have to steal or kill people
Great video but they were killed in arcadia Louisiana
ray Broadhead it was gibsland and their bodies were taken to Arcadia
