I’ve always felt that this message applies most to the modern Catholic Church. Idol worship was the norm in Pergamum. Today we are called to follow what Jesus says which is to repent of any participation in idol worship or false doctrines. This is most obvious but all of us have idols in our lives that we must lay aside. Even if they are acceptable culturally….such as the world of our hands-our phones! Put the word first!

Hello Rick. While these are educational, I would prefer if these were either shorter or posted in addition to the Bible teaching rather than in place of it.
