- Welcome to OMAN!! Starting off a new series here in the Middle East's BEST Food country we're in the capital : MUSCAT! I'm so excited to share this beautiful country and it's incredible cuisine with you.

In this episode we start off at Muscat's grand mosque before heading for an Arabic breakfast. After that we head to the nearby town of Muttrah to climb to the top of it's famous fort for the best views in Muscat! After building up an appetite we're heading for camel and rice. At night we go for some street food shawarma at the souk.

Muscat, the capital city of Oman, is the food hub of the country. Whether they are cheap street foods on stalls or in a fine dining restaurant, food in Muscat is not going disappoint you all. Food is made with a variety of spices,meat is grilled at a perfect level and served with delicious sauces and salads. Though yuo would find food from across the world is served here from burgers to pizzas, but you should not miss out on the local Omani food, with more local and authentic flavour. Happy hungry! Thank you Luke for another extraordinary experience of Oman's cuisine and attractions. Although it says that the camel meat is very good, I prefer the Shawarma. The Chinese are the most rice eaters in the world. Seriously are Omani incense stones edible?,😲OMG. Happy good week!👍🤟
well yes. China close to the size of entire europe and rice is the stable food of the region with a population of 1 BILLION people. Just like caucasians are the most bread eaters in the world...
Frankincense is good for health.
However, one marble a day is enough cuz taking many it can reverse the effect, also some varieties of frankincense can cause the blood to thin, which is not healthy if you are already dealing with bleeding issues, hemorrhage etc.
This comes down to an active ingredient called ‘’Estragol’’ found in Boswellia carterii, Boswellia sacra and B. indica.Some frankincense is expensive but it can be chewed like chewing gum and does not thin the blood. It’s excellent for bad breath and cleaning the teeth in general. It is antibacterial, antiviral and antiseptic.
Look like an interesting place!!! Not just traditional looking place, it also look so clean...

Thank you Luke for the nice trip around Muscat. I bet you have not seen the dependency of rice in South Indian cuisine. Almost everything is made of rice and we would starve if there was no rice available.

Ahmed is pretty funny. He keeps you on your toes. Interesting about the oiliness of camel meat. The parts shown of Oman was very clean and sparse of people.
