@@qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm3937 you’re absolutely right. Many would say Jimmy Page but honestly, they’re not even in the same ballpark for me. Iommi riffs are just DISGUSTING in the best possible way. Even songs like under the sun, or newer songs from The Devil You Know. Another one of my favorites is falling off the edge of the world. They’re just undeniable man.
All great tunes but Dio Sabbath is unmatched in my eyes. Such a great singer paired with one of the greatest guitarists to ever pick it up. Iommi you dropped this 👑.
Good 'ol Sabbath. 🥰🥰 A great example of a band that was not the most technical in their field, but they knew exactly what every song needed And are some of the few musicians I can think of who were genuine genre-bending game changers trying something absolutely nobody had tried at that point. I'm no guitar expert, but I would call all of these riffs intermediate, they aren't as easy as, say, the Ramones discography, but you'll have a much easier time learning these riffs than you would, say, the majority of Metallica's discography. These guys were the true creators of metal and I hope guitarist continue to learn these riffs for decades to come!
Fun fact: Tony Iommi based the iconic “Black Sabbath” riff on part of Gustav Holst’s “Planets” suite, a series of orchestral pieces written during World War 1 which also inspired many other rock bands and movie soundtracks
That tone couldn’t be more perfect

Black Sabbath the goat
Best Black Sabbath tone on TH-cam
Thanks dawg
HOW DID YOU GET THAT SOUND?!
@@pmx2ncome on man plz do afterlife solo from avenged sevenfold
@@Minex1028I second that
@@copper4177 what?
I love how the riff for Black Sabbath looks so complicated when it's tabbed like this
Whoever made the tab should've just put a trill symbol on it because it just looks silly
The amazing part is you could add like 20 more riffs to this video and they’d all easily be A+ riffs from sabbath. Iommi is the goat.
Supernaut
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Sabbra Cadabra
Fairies Wear Boots
Lord of This World
Children of the Grave
Snowblind
Etc. all sick ass riffs
@@pmx2n 👍🤘
Bro has the best music taste
U could probably add 50 or more tbh. Iommi is the greatest riff maker of all time and I’ll b honest it’s not even close.

I remember playing into the void on my little squire in front of the whole school
Gnarly, dude.
Hell yeah. Doesn't matter if it's a Squier, a Fender, a Gibson, all that matters is you're playing and enjoying it.
It’s hard to find a song more fun than paranoid for bass guitar, very simple but just so satisfying
Lounge act by nirvana
same for the bass part lol
Black Sabbath always has THAT TONE. I love it!
Thiccccc
All great tunes but Dio Sabbath is unmatched in my eyes. Such a great singer paired with one of the greatest guitarists to ever pick it up. Iommi you dropped this 👑.
That tone is immaculate.
Children of the grave and Neon Knight i Love the riffs
Good 'ol Sabbath. 🥰🥰

thumbs up before he even starts playing... not disappointed.
Into the void is my favourite Sabbath song. Then Warpigs second.
Your the GOAT I swear bro
Black Sabbath is the best
Real happy to see someone actually play paranoid right.
3 el riff más tenebroso de la historia 😮
I'm a simple man. I see Black Sabbath. I click. I subscribe.
Into the void is such an underrated song from them
Top 5 My Bloody Valentine riffs?
1. When You Sleep that riff scratches my brain (specifically the high pitched synth-esque riff)
Tone is so immaculate
Sound perfect!!!
you nailed it with that tone
Bro, you play the rock 🎸 🤘 guitar very cool. You are super beautiful. Clear parts from world rock masterpieces🤘👌✌️😎. I watch you all the time.

Fun fact: Tony Iommi based the iconic “Black Sabbath” riff on part of Gustav Holst’s “Planets” suite, a series of orchestral pieces written during World War 1 which also inspired many other rock bands and movie soundtracks
Actually it was Geezer Butler, he was playing Mars on his bass, and then Tony took Mars and made the riff from it
The tooooooneee 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
forever going to think that skull fuckers/skull flowers cover from metal lords is the best cover of war pigs ever. its so amazing
U forgot the palm mutes on Into the void but this was spectacular the tone too
Damn my ears are blessed rn
Sounded great Man 👍.
Anybody else crack up when the tab for "Black Sabbath" popped up? No?
the black sabbath tab is insane
Do 5 iconic Slipknot riffs

Pyretta Blaze is for sure influenced by Into the Void.

"What is this that stands before me"
Electric Funeral is underrated
into the void is so crazy man all the riffs off master of reality go so hard
The third is very... yeah.
Eletric funreal
Yo bro you should add some Misfits riffs
My choices - N.I.B and Electric Funeral
Please drop the amp settings. We need this. 🙏
Everytime I play on those frets my guitar tone sounds muddy does anyone know how to fix it
Children of the grave should be on another list
Day 1 of asking for "5 iconic Slayer riffs"
How would you tab the Iron Man intro???
into the void was tuff
How did i forget about into the void???
Day 3 of asking for Top 5 Emo Rock Guitar Riffs
how do you record and find these backing tracks
Your tone is on point but why did you use a les paul when iommi uses an sg
all that was missing was the children of the grave riff \m//
Where's N.I.B.? Its one of my favorite Black Sabbath riffs. That and paranoid
Where'd you get your tabs from? Cause the tabs i use for iron man are different from yours
Smile a bit, good playing thought
Can ypu share how you got that tone
Heaven and Hell not being here feels like blasphemy, but that's just me.
Please play " Zero the Hero!"
Great list, but where's Supernaut?
The tab for Black Sabbath (the song, not the album or band) makes the riff seem way more complicated than it is
Black sabbath is THE doom metal song
You should get guitar pro, it'll be easier and faster for you to write tabs and use them in vids
what distorsion pedal did you use?
FIRST 🖤
Gotta praise your ability to play these riffs without doing a stankface somehow
Now play "about to fall asleep man"
Bro did Paranoid the hard was just to flex lol but ngl Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath off the album Black Sabbath is 🔥 🔥
Next: Deep purple or The Who
bro, we've got the same guitars
No children of the grave :(
NIB!!!
5 iconic Slipknot riffs next
