So very true! 😊 Here's musical proof that great music can transcend generations (omG, I'm showing my age lol). It is a refreshing thing to see and hear such great music performed by 1,000 talented artists from around the world who come together to play some of the most iconic songs of all time.
There is only one Rolling Stones, 1 Mick Jagger, and 1 Keith Richards, but kudos to all of the people in this video who brought the energy in this video! Well done!
I start to sob when I watch these. I can't help it. Now my wife watches them with me, and we both sob. We're in our 60's. It's just magical to see this now. Proof positive how music brings light to darkness. Another wonderful concert.
Yes, me same. Watching with tears in my eyes. Now 70 I am so glad to have 1st hand witnessed this amazing era. And seeing the younger generations appreciate the music we grew up with ❤🎉
Exactly my reaction! What a wonderful thing these people are doing. I’m in my 60’s also, and it makes me so happy to see this. To me it’s right up there with Playing For Change’s rendition of Led Zeppelin’s When The Levee Breaks. Spot on!!
Same here! I’m 69 1/2 (😊) and this is one of my favourite Stones songs. So many great memories. I’m glad I was alone when I saw this because I was singing at the top of my voice and crying at the same time. Gosh I miss those days. They were so magical. I’m so glad that I was born when I was. Love to all my Boomer brothers and Sisters! ❤
Love to see rock and roll passed on to new generations. Rolling Stones possibly the greatest rock and roll band of all time. Love this. Thanks., 70 years old and still rocking!🤘🤘🤘
One of my favorite Stones songs ( and it has nothing to do with the fact that my name is Jack). I’ve been listening to them since the 1960s, I’m 79 and still listen to them.
This song came out the summer of 68 while I was home on leave before I went to Vietnam. This was my song. I got to Nam and would walk around singing it. Eventually people sent tapes to their family members and more Marines would sing it.
Remember when the Stones and the Beatles first started cranking. 69 yrs old (pushing 70) and have been a rock and roller all my life. Going to see the Stones here in Houston in a few months and I am STOKED.
It's the first time I've responded to a comment from someone from America. Hello Mark, you're never too old for music, no matter what genre...it brings people together, and that's important!...in a current world where some things are no longer beautiful. Have fun at the Rolling Stones concert in April!...I'm writing to you from Germany (via translator because my English isn't that good 😉) and I'm also 69 years old...👍
Hey Mark ! Have you seen them yet ? If so I hope it was fantastic,if not you’re in for a treat I’m sure .Im 62 and have been very fortunate to see them twice! Just amazing,if they come to Australia I will surely see them again for a third time! Rock on 🤟
I've been a fan of the Stones since I was 12 and I'm now 60 and still rocking with them. I love this!! I wish I was there singing and rockin out too! AMAZING!!🙌💖🇨🇦
I’d love to see everyone over sixty in the place yell out cause we were there when it all happened. I’m 64. My brothers band used to play this song in the 70’s all the time. I miss him. Rock on Lee!!
What madness, but what wonderful madness! I am 58 years old and have terminal lung cancer; but upon hearing this splendid performance I decided to have a few drinks. Cheers! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I wish you joy, comfort and peace. May you have no pain. B6 the way, the may push other medications, BUT Morphine helps with the intense feeling of shortness of breath. Get some, i think they make patches and know they make liquid. Don't deny yourself comfort. Bless you.
I can never say enough times about how great it is to see such talented people from all over coming together to perform some of the greatest music ever written, thereby keeping the candle of iconic music lit and share it for all of the world to hear and remember. To the musicians and vocalists of Rockin' 1,000, I applaud and thank you so very much for sharing your gift of music with us all. 🥰👏✌💖💖💖
yes! and yet the Grammy's do not even feature that category on the live show. I saw the pre-show where the Rock awards were given out. THAT is a crime, my friend. Bands like The Darkness are rocking hard, making new songs and touring, not like Def Leppard playing old hits. The Darkness always makin new.
Wonderful to see so many musicians perform this song. I played guitar and JJ Flash with a rock a rock band in the late 60s. This song has so much energy and still sounds great almost 60 years later. To see The Rolling Stones music showcased like this just affirms that they are the greatest rock n roll band ever.

Was never a huge fan of The Rolling Stones, never bought any of their albums. But there are some songs that I do like, and this is one of them. I'm loving these uploads of Rockin' 1000 covers with huge numbers of singers and instrumentalists. Such joy. It would be a sad world without music. Mar'24. UK. E ❤
I was 20 yrs old when this came out. This, Get Off of My Cloud, and Gloria were THE songs to dance to and my body still remembers. JJF got everyone on their feet and rockin'; I still want to shake and shout. This concert(or whatever its called) is great fun and done quite well. Music is a gift and at 75 rock and roll still excites my soul. Especially after a toke or two of weed, which I first took up only a few months before. I wish we had this kind of community here in the States, but everything is politicized here, except of course football. This video is beautiful. Thanks for posting.
The concert videos you upload give me life! I feel the moving spirit in my heart as I watch these amazing musicians and singers thoroughly get into it and love what they’re doing. Music heals and these videos help me through many a rough day. Thank you. 🙏🏼
