I love Fabriano soft press. It's totally my favorite paper, too. I paint mainly portriats. And it's incredible paper. It also works so well with watercolor pencils.
Great video! The Opal & Mint Comedy Hour….seriously, thank you so much for all the wonderful videos you two do for us! I’d say my most favorite find of 2024 is Kuretake Gansai Tambi paints. I know they are not strictly watercolors; however, they can be transparent like watercolor and opaque like gouche. And they are reasonably priced for those of us on limited budgets. Meeden also has a line of watercolors that are student paints but they are the best “student” paints I’ve ever used. I also purchased a set of Dugato paint brushes which are really cheap but surprisingly they do really well for someone like me who prefers a springy brush as opposed to something like the Princeton Neptunes. Like I mentioned, these are good alternatives for people who have limited incomes and just want to keep painting, learning and growing in their art practice.❤ Thank you again!
My top supplies of 2024 has to be my floandforj handmade watercolors, my W&N Cotman pocket set, and my Bee Inspired Jumbo pad. Honestly, I love looking at your 31 purple Fish palette. 🥰Please fill up the whole tray lol.😆 And happy late birthday to Kylie. 🥳
Love this video! I tried the Fabriano soft press and loved it, all except seeing the tiny diagonal grid show up in any painted area if you look closely. It covered the page. I was hoping I had a bad lot.
Do you need an Ipad PRO to use Procreate or is it compatible with other IPad models? I was also looking at it and was going to try an Android version. I'm so glad I came across your video before I went through the hassle of it. 😂

Great suggestions! What is the large palette that you have your Purple Fish on? Is it magnetic? That looks like a great art supply option!
@@MissEnzyme61 it was actually a beading board that I had. I took the foam out and put magnetic sheets in it. It is working wonderfully!

I didn’t know you had a son, Ashley! Fun video, btw. Also, beautiful nail color!
Where did you get that amazing brush holder? My craftroom is small and I use a lot of wall space to keep things near
@@TuggerAbbey mine is from IKEA. But they have similar ones on Amazon. amzn.to/3B4jMGp
I like Fabriano, too, but I’ve never heard of soft press. Do you mean hot press?
@@jkellyfamily9 nope!! Fabriano has a soft press!! It's different and it's fabulous. It only comes in large sheets. amzn.to/4fAmpxT

@@sharireade no I don't think so. I believe any iPad will do.
Just wanted to tell you that this O&M fangirl over here bought herself a Coca-Cola water cup because of Ashley! 🥰😍
