After that is done NLA brings in the WiTech to be a mediator and tells everyone to shake hands even though they all ready know each other. After that all is well in the land of pixies and communication and order is restored. Thanks Keith, it all makes sense to me now!
I know the pain.Chrysler and J2534 sucks. We can replace PCM's but can not finish the job :( . Seems the Chrysler and J2534 updates are about all we can do w/o the WiTech
Hey Keith, I'm using the Cardaq Plus for Chrysler programming, and have been able to perform the restore vehicle configuration procedure on a '12 Grand Cherokee and an '11 Challenger. I don't have all the functions that you show on the WiTech, but have been able to get the vehicles back up and running with all the necessary relearns after PCM replacement (both due to alternator overcharge).

Keith, i don’t have a witech subscription yet only tech authority and in my shop I started to get many 2008-2013 chargers and Jeep’s with faulty or defective WIN modules Customers expextations to save money is to get second hand from scrap yard win modules but I can’t rewrite the vin# with tech authority or any other aftermarket tool My question is witech is capable to rewrite the vin on a used or second hand WIN module

Help please. I have 2 Jeeps wh 2005. One is a baseline and the other with the extra features like rain sensor, heated seats. I made the worse choice by plugging my ecm, bcm and skim into the non runner, got the none runner running with my standerd Jeeps controllers. My problem began when i re installed the my ecm, bcm and skim. I found that my bcm was configured according to the none runners special feature and vin mismatch configuration. The baseline jeep is starting, but now my CL locking is not working, airbag configuration problem and the bcm full of errors, missing rain sensor, heated seats ens.. how do i reprogram my bcm back to my standard Jeep?

@NewLevelAuto. Have a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.7L that originally had a no start condition, traced to ECM/Skreem. Replaced ECM and still had an issue so SKREEM was replaced with a used one. Now vehicle starts and runs but alarm is constantly armed (blinking red light) and goes off every time doors open (times out after 30 secs or so) and doors will not unlock using fob or door switch. The door switch will only lock all doors and the fob seems to be recognized by vehicle because lights blink when buttons are pushed but does not perform the actual task. And SRS light is on. Any help would be appreciated with this situation , been driving my mechanics and the locksmiths nuts
The replacement pcm you got probably came with security disabled, you should not have plugged your wireless control module in, you should of disconnected it and left it unplugged . Your wireless control module is bad and you cant get new part at this point it time, the wireless control module is that ring that fits around the lock cylinder. You will not have function of the key fob any longer and your tire pressure monitor system will no longer function but the car will start and run. The only other option you have is to find a used pcm,wcm,and key fob and change out all three and have someone write the correct vin into the pcm if you have to pass emissions testing.

Hello. Excellent video. I have a horrible question. '08 5.7 AWD Commander. My ABS module is on the fritz, I replaced it with a used one (vin # matched) am having the same problem. The brakes work just fine, yes the light is annoying, but as you know as a safety feature, the remote will not work. Here's the horrible question, is there a way to by-pass, pull a fuse, ect the make the remote start work? I cannot afford $1000. for a new one one and 2-3 hundred to program it up. I have taken it to the only dealership around and (other issues) they have fumbled, stumbled and jerked me around enough times I cannot (will not) take it to them again. any ideas? thank you for your time.

Looks like Chrysler needs to work on their software Keith as you've mentioned about the quirks in it. Good info to know if you're using this software :)
i use Witech daily many time a day.. its a great tool.... when it work ! sometime its less frustrating actually wrenching of the car than messing around with Witech ou Dealerconnect. Also the translation (im french canadian) is horrible.
Hmm. Hard to believe that Chrysler was once a big promoter of alternators. They put alternators as standard equipment on all Chrysler products starting in 1961, I believe, in place of DC generators. Now they can't even build a charging system that works properly.

There the clowns here in town there only local people that do it for the next 300 miles around they fuckes up my pcm after they went to reprogram it the dodge avenger never started again and it was running fine just not going past 1st gear
A local Dodge dealer is looking for mechanics. Starting wage is $20 an hour. They will pay for your schooling. Looks like the Chrysler coders need schooling. IMHO.

Are you using a micropod for this car. Is it a clone?
Keith if you install a back up camra you have to reprogram the WCM ?

The WiTech is completely web based now. Independent diesel shop here. Boss believes is OEM scan tools this is a example of why.

you can't change VINs on used EPS.
