Nice to see things opening. No flea markets around where I live either. Thrift shops are open though. And I found the best score of my life recently. A $60 box of 1950's baseball cards. It had near complete sets of 1954, 1955, and 1956 Topps including all the major stars and rookies with TWO Clemente's ( the only doubles in the whole box), near complete 1954 Red Heart with the Mantle and Musial, and some 1953 Bowman color including the Mantle. As you can imagine, I was shocked and overjoyed. Keep up the videos and happy hunting. Be strong and stay safe everyone..... 💪🙏

I agree. The most amazing part to me was that I got to the thrift shop at 4. They open at 10. The box sat there for six hours untouched until I bought it. I tore open the plastic wrap myself to look at the cards. Just. Plain. Wow....!!!!! 🤯
Amazing....I got about $10,000 worth of baseball cards for $300. Apparently this ladies uncle use to have a card shop in the 80s in Los Angeles and he died a few years ago...He had no kids so his niece had some of his cards stored in in her garage and she put it on a ad in the newspaper, i saw it and called her...I ended up with boxes of unopened cards from the 90s but also a box of May's, Mantles, Clemente and Yogi Berra and the 1st set of garbage pail kids. I met John Wathan in Cooperstown I think in 1999. He was walking in the crowd and my dad stopped him. Nobody else recognized him, got a cool photo with him. Nice guy.
I am from germany and I am so amazed of all these packs and boxes of cards because we don't have this in germany. I think I would have spend hundreds of dollars on this flea market.

Baseball cards were great. I don't hear much about card shows anymore, and with people doing signings. I always liked the Topps sets from the 1950's, especially 1954 to 1956.
Almost went up to Rogers today. Saw some pics from there. It was packed. Glad you found some card sellers. Last time I went there was only the one guy that normally is there.
My son used to watch this dad son TH-cam channel and all they did was walk thru stores and buy toys..he would love it...

Just curious, does anybody know why some of the cards at the start of the video have 2 price tags on them?
The seller probably put the price guide price and the price he's actually selling the cards for. But it's a little misleading because the price guide prices are for cards in better condition than the cards that were being sold. The two prices make it seem like you're getting a big bargain, but that's before you factor in the condition of the cards.
Dude you're channel is amazing. As a beginner collector I'm loving learning and your page and channel is definitely helping.
I'm in the UK so baseball isn't nearly as popular as it is elsewhere and the whole sports cards hobby is pretty much a tiny community so it isn't easy at all to get going. Great content man. It's a pleasure watching

Love that were getting the flea markets back...but the lack of ppe was nuts. Unless this was last year maybe, thinking it was. Way way way too many people with no protection. I'm in health care and I just don't understand it. I'd love for these folks to have seen the icu and pacu back when we were overwhelmed with patients. Seeing a patient pass all alone for days and having to break terrible news over the phone to families is something I don't want to have to do ever, ever, again.
That's weird. Henry Ford hospital in Michigan laid off 2500 people because they WEREN'T overhemled. New York was also never overwhelmed.

Love the vid. Berea Fairgrounds in Ohio has a pretty decent flea market that's open. That one vendor in this video with the sealed blasters was there the last time I went. Planning on going this Sunday actually.

When I was collecting back in the day some of the most valuable sports cards we’re hockey and football you better be careful of which ones you discard but I didn’t know that I like your channel it makes me want to get back into collecting cards

YOU just said something that made me a fan. OH THEIR JUST HOCKEY CARDS... I invested $5000 in Eric Lindros when he was a rookie. I have about 100 of them and 10,000 hockey that my wife tells at me every day for buying.
My parents went to a flea market in North Carolina and got a Jackie Robinson Life Magazine from 1950

I have that 58 Mantle All Stars it's my favorite card not sure the value but love it.
Usual card dealer at a flea market: "how ya doin." "Whatcha lookin for?" "Ya tryin to build a set?" Next customer comes along: "how ya doin? .....whatcha lookin for? Ya tryin to build a set?"

Love that Mantle. Got my first Mantle (68 Topps Game) a few months ago.
In fact I was a flea market yesterday and I got some 60s and 70s cards and 1953 reprint cards
