By slowly quilling the horn you can hear the layers of the chord that makes the horn. All diesel horns are a musical note or chord
When you quill the horn it’s almost like 3 horns harmonizing! Like a horn acapella band

I love the concept, but I feel like KCS could’ve done a better job of designing the paint scheme.

Nice! I really wish MTH would give us the option of having the ditch lights solid.
@Freight Arabia Yup it sure does make no sense. I just buy the lionel model of whatever Canadian or Western U.S. engine I like so I can set the lights to solid. Maybe one day we'll have that option. The other one I want is to have independent control of the front and rear lights for when doing lash ups.

eric I have the union pacific honoring veterans premier mth version. all the sounds are the same even the pfa sounds only mine does not have the quilling whistle. question... can I down load the sound set from your sd70ace into my sd70ace engine and get the quillable whistle feature?

You should do the MTH c&o m1 steam turbine or a prr t1. That's just a recommendation.

If this locomotive is anything like the HO MTh DCC locomotive I purchased even if you converted it to 2 rail DCC operations it will sti be different than other manufacturers DCC ops. MTH has a habit of making everything proprietary even when standards exist.
