I didn't even realise this was a custom track until after watching the video, was just thinking how cool it looked... I was good at this game but left it behind over 10 years ago
Great run! I just noticed this in the input display and was curious: why do you hold both down and either right/left when snaking? I’ve always just held right or left. Does holding down make a difference?
Thanks! It is completely incidental and down to a combination of 1) how worn the D-pad is and 2) the individual player's thumb grip. Holding down or up does not make a difference when snaking on a flat surface. There are some players who hold down all the time like me, some even up, or neither. Bizarrely enough, there are some frames where you can see me holding up, down and left/right all at the same time.
Do you happen to have a guide on how to Install Nitro CTGP, because I really want to get started on that front but I have no idea if you need to only play on computer, or buy extensions for an actual DS
All you do is patch a vanilla Mario Kart DS ROM with the .xdelta file provided on the CTGP Nitro website. This is the site used to patch together: hack64.net/tools/patcher.php
One of my favourite Bowser’s Castle courses!
1:15 Mini turbo? More like mini heart-attack
1:16 mini heart attack
1:15 cutting things fine there!

Imagine going 100km + in a tiny kart around a track IRL
The dymak C5 blast ultimate go kart can go to 100 km/h so yeah it's possible
Good Game.

That's actually a really big help, now the only issue is that there's no audio, idk if there's another file I needed to add or not
Nevermind, I figured it out, I just had MelonDS double open so it was going wack
gg
wait since when does ctgp nitro look so good?
This isn't a map in MKDS. Is there something I'm missing?
Yes, the video description.
I never look at descriptions, but I got it now. Great driving
