  • Well-known designer brands ruined the concept of luxury, but thankfully there are few brands that still try to keep the charm going. Today we’ll talk about Max Mara and discuss whether it is worth the money or not. I’ll also talk about the real customer experiences through the end of this video since I believe it’s really important.
    Don’t forget to let me know what you think about Max Mara, and I would appreciate it if you share your personal experience with the brand in the comments below.

    I love Max Mara and own a few pieces. Like you said, it’s timeless and the quality is there. Anything from Max Mara becomes a staple in a wardrobe for years to come. I don’t mind dropping the money for sustainability.

    I have a Max Mara Studio coat that is more affordable but still feels luxurious and timeless. I purchased it online but not from the brand itself. I waited for the Black Friday sales a few years back and it is one of my most prized possessions. The only downside is that since purchasing it we've been having very warm winters over here and I don't get it wear it that often.

    Quality, elegance. Only Max Mara if I could.
    The teddy bear coat in dusty pink or maccaroni blu are angelic.
    There are weekend end max mara, max & co the more affordable lines of the brand.
    Thank you for existing Max Mara.
    My forbidden dream.

      @vanessabogaert2104 Hi, could you please tell me how do Manuela and Madame compare regarding the sizing? I have a Manuela in 40IT, but I can only wear it with very thin shirts or thin sweaters, since it's really fitted in the shoulders/upper arms. Which size would you recommend for the Madame coat if I want to wear it with chunky sweaters and blazers? I am 162 cm, 55 kg. Thank you.

    • @vanessabogaert2104
      @vanessabogaert2104 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@hannahgross_72 the madame is definitely roomier. Especially in the shoulders and chest compared to the Manuela. You could probably get the same size in the Madame and have enough room. Maybe one size up if you like a looser fit. But it is very warm!! So you might be bit hot with a thick wool underneath it. But I live in Portland, OR so our winters aren’t very cold. But I absolutely love mine. It’s super soft and feels so luxurious. And it wears and drapes beautifully.

      @@vanessabogaert2104 Thank you so much for such a quick response 🙏🏻🩷 Now I'm still confused and can't decide between 40 and 42 😂 I live in Europe and our winters are cold. Not as cold as they used to be, we don't get much snow anymore , but cold enough for down or shearling coats. So I guess the Madame would be great. Can you fit a chunky sweater under your Manuela? How about the Madame? Are they both the same size? Sorry for so many questions 🩷 Oh, I also have a Rialto in 42, because I wanted a more relaxed look. But Rialto is a short coat. Is the Madame much longer than Manuela? I'm pretty short, otherwise I would probably go with a 42 without thinking about it (that's one size bigger than Manuela)

    I so love your videos as they are refreshing and they stand out! I love Max Mara even though it is very pricey. I believe in investing in good pieces of clothing and Max Mara is really worth investing in. I have a few pieces from this brand but the coat is definitely on my wish list ❤. Could you do a video about Luisa Spagnoli? I think it is a very good brand and the quality is excellent. As far as Customer Service is concerned I never bought on line from MM but I can confirm that in the stores the SA’s are always nice. I am Italian and my experience is related to shopping in my country. Keep the good work going! ❤

      Thank you so much, always a pleasure to hear your feedback on my channel & videos! ❤I totally agree, I see making purchases from such brands as an investment to my closet because I know they're timeless and they will last way longer compared to other brands! Thanks for sharing your experience with us, and I'll definitely check Luisa Spagnoli!

    I love Maxmara and the experience of shopping there. Especially their trousers. They make sure they’re custom tailored. It always looks very sharp and luxurious. I like Weekend collection too.

    Max Mara Group pensó so many brands. They really can afford to create luxury because loses can be level up with gains from other brands. I buy more from Max&Co. And Marella because it’s like JCrew and I like it more. The other brands are: Sportmax, Weekend Max Mara, Penny Black, Marina Rinaldi, Persona, IBlues, and the outlet brand Intrend. As an American living in Italy, I think their idea of customer service is different than ours. They often say that they can’t give cash back because of tax issues with their “ Polizia di Finanza” so they would give you a credit. I also have to say that their “ Fundazione” helps a lot the community and for that the family got a medal from the Italian President Mattarella.

    I started to get MaxMara coats this year - love them and they are really good: comfortable, versatile, timeless, and keep me warm (I live in Denmark). It is difficult to put one benchmark for everyone if such a piece is 'worth it'. For me, on the days I wear them and they make me feel soooo good, every time, then it is worth the money. Doesn't need to be 'i wear it everyday and in all kind of weather'.

    Max Mara is my favourite brand. I own 3 iconic coats: Teddy, Madam and Manuela. And I love them! My other pieces from the brand I wear and love for many years and nothing ever happened to them. The quality is the best.

    Honestly, MaxMara coats are good. The material is there, there’s no polyester. The lining is usually silk and the coat is natural fiber too.

    Max Mara has several lines. But I’m only stick with Max Mara. Their suits fit me perfectly, especially the pants and dresses. Of course their coats are iconic. I tried max Mara studio’s coats and s’ max Mara coats, which can’t compete with max Mara coats’ materials. They are my go-to outfits for important meetings

    Max Mara = 75% of my wardrobe. My mum and I have been buying this for years, all our suits, coats and trousers and many of our jumpers are from here. Max Mara are one of the oldest, most trusted quality brands.

  • @innaershova528
    @innaershova528 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    My main problem with MaxMara is a significant decline in quality, not to mention atrocious US pricing for their outwear. I used to visit Milan regularly for business in 2012-2015, and I still remember the quality of coats back then - it's incomparable to what you can see in MaxMara stores now. E.g., Madame coat lining these days feels really cheap, Manuela coat has no real belt loops, and in general the material feels thinner and a tad flimsier than it used to. To be fair, I used to own a Max Mara suit, and the jacket wore off way faster than I expected (compared to other higher-end jackets I own) in the areas of friction (mostly underarms). So I agree with the comments on design and prestige / heritage associated the brand but quality... not really.

    I'm saving up for the white OR sand Teddy beat icon coat. Yes saving up because my "cheap" coats lasted me 10 years so I'm certain this quality will last me a lifetime. + Can you EVER regret a white teddy bear coat? I LOVE Winter time so it's worthy to me.

    Yes, I like Max Mara. But the less expensive one, it called Weekend Max Mara, they have many beautiful clothes, bags. I have 2 coats from Max Mara, that I bought several years ago. I sometimes wore those coats since I can’t wash by myself, I have to send them to the dry cleaning. I prefer to wear a simply coat for daily use.
