This is one of those rare TH-cam ads that makes you smile and actually has a decent product to sell. It's usually terrible mobile games and I'm glad to see something worthwhile finally be an ad.
Good God, those mobile gaming ads drive me insane! Especially the ones that use false representations of the game, when it's just a clash of clans/tower defense clone.

I'm a playstation guy, always have been but credit where credit is absolutely due, Microsoft have brought the most important piece of gaming tech this decade to the table. Yeah VR is cool and all but this? This welcomes so many people to the world of video games that would have found only frustration before. Also Zach is a gem and a great spokesperson for this, guy has charisma in spades

Almost 30 years later Microsoft decides to do what every other gaming company already has Nintendo did it first in the 90s PlayStation did this in the early 2000s now Microsoft wants to join the bandwagon
No game company has done this. The PC was the only way you could do this without modding controllers. Please stop trying to start arguments.

Think about gaming when this was attempted though. It would be a custom controller made to order. Gaming was a niche market. Them attempting it then is far more exciting and risky than someone making one now... Back then you had Atari, Nes or Sega. Only a handful of kids in school even played video games. Now you'd be hard pressed to find someone who hasn't played a video game. So... Yes only one was made but it still is the first.

with disabilities playing video games. Especially when it’s made in a positive way, there’s no way it can be turned negative at all. Science is weird like that, let’s watch more human nature like this. I’m intrigued and amazed. Xbox’s community is usually toxic, but I say when it involves seeing something happen and there’s proof in front of them they can be reasonable and not call names and not be heartless towards someone who can’t help what they have. :)

This is a great video, with a great sense of humor. There’s no reason I needed to watch it or purchase this product, but it held my attention and for that you have my respect.
My brother has X-linked Myotubular Myopathy, which makes him very, very different from most kids growing up. Throughout our lives we have always held our passions for games together.
We couldn't do things normal siblings could do. No play fighting, no chasing, sometimes even no talking as his ventilator limited his voice.
However, we have always had games.
We played everything from Ben 10, WWE, Tekken, Grand Theft Auto, Alien, and so many other games that hold most of our fondest memories together.
The past 5 years have been difficult. He has lost the ability to move his hands, which as it seems obvious, limits him more than he has been limited already.
As years went on, he could hold the controller for less and less time everyday until we just stopped, and never picked them up again.
And that is where our happiest memories together ended.
I wish he could have had more things like this. To help him with his passion. Our only passion. Our only chance at being something more.
He is now 21 years old and he can move just a few fingers.
He has never walked a day in his life and has never lifted anything heavier than half a kilogram.
Although, even this controller wouldn't help him, these improvements for the everyday life of a disabled gamer, you have no possible idea how much they can change a life.
The controller you know is something YOU can control.
Not everybody has that privilege.

This made me realize that Microsoft CARES for ALL Gamers. It touched me heart watching this man play a game with almost no issue. It is nice to know that a company shows this much care to it's consumers.
They actually got disabled people to work on the project, too. It's awesome.
I don't really like Microsoft because they take so many great studios, like Lion head, and Rare and make bank on games promising the old times then dump DLC and Micro transactions in it for more money. But when I saw this ad my heart sank in a good place, well done Xbox!

They took the time and effort to build, Test and make a controller that was suited towards the handicapped so that that can have almost the same amount of maneuvering abilities other players do. Wow. This was genuinely great. Everything about it. Kudos to MS for creating this controller, and for shooting an ad without pathetic patronizing attitude most companies have towards people with disabilities. If you approach problems with humor and confidence nothing is impossible.

I liked them shocking Josh cause it makes his arm movement simulate Zach's slightly and how the controller would help.
You have to bring Zach back for some more videos. The timing and delivery in his comedy is spot on and made for a hilarious video. Josh works well as the straight faced friend, too

A thing I like about Zach is he seems to have a honest sense of his ridiculous(not the same thing as bad) or humorous outward appearance which allows you to get past his humorous appearance and quickly see him as not that different.
