Giving and helping someone else is the simplest form of Love and it always finds its way back to You. I wish more people understood this.
In turn, hurting and taking from someone is the simplest form of hate and it will also find its way back to you. Many More people need to learn that.
And it isn’t an immediate kind of thing. Your actions “Stack Up’ in a way. Then when you need it the most, it is there for you.

@ in my situation it was experiencing and still is a bunch of life’s movements associated with the “One door closes another door opens” concept. A good illustration is one of my life’s experiences was being hooked on drugs and alcohol and in a desperate attempt of prayer asked GOD to get me out of that mess. Over a couple years of one life event leading to another event I have 10 years drug and alcohol free. Another time I was tired of not going anywhere in life so I asked in sincere prayer to change my situation of always struggling with my structure of life. One life event led to another and I have a very structured life today which involves, a relationship with GOD, Relations between family, Friendships and people in general. I also have financial stability; I don’t want for nothing and all my needs are met. I’m not a church person nor do I read religious books but I do believe that GOD is three. Creator, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit. I did die one time in 2015 having had Severe Aplastic Anemia and did hear a voice telling me I had to return but it was a female’s voice. That’s another story lol. Thank you for inquiring, I wish you wellness and wellbeing.

God is an identity, and this identity resides within us. In Samkhya philosophy, this inner essence is referred to as Purusha, the pure consciousness that defines our true self. Yogis have developed practices to establish a direct connection with Purusha through the disciplines of Yoga. While Samkhya serves as a theoretical framework, Yoga is its practical application. Together, they form a harmonious whole: Samkhya provides the philosophical insight, and Yoga offers the path to actualize it. Importantly, Yoga is a philosophy rooted in self-realization and not a religion.

I’m an atheist and I like what this guy says most of the time, including here. I’m not raging. The interesting thing is that you likely interpret his “God” as meaning your God, rooted in humanities’ traditions and story telling. And that’s not the God he is talking about. He never mentioned the Bible. You’re cherry picking his words and applying them to your narrative. The images of people praying and reading bibles is completely off base from what Chris is saying. I think you’re clueless. Chris does not belong to any religious denomination, explaining that he "can't afford to let logical approach to theology be prejudiced by religious dogma".

The point is, Chris Langan is not merely some eccentric individual quoting the Bible. The issue lies in the fact that religion, as a human construct, often fails to provide ultimate truth. Psychologically, what atheists tend to reject is not necessarily the concept of God but rather the institutional and doctrinal frameworks of religion itself. By definition, whatever underpins existence-whatever is the ultimate cause or foundation of reality-could be understood as 'God.' It’s ultimately a matter of semantics and interpretation.

    • @tshirtphilosophers

langan is a man who engages with conspiracy theories and isn't capable of presenting the intellect that his reputation precedes, which was all granted to him through an outdated and inaccurate evaluation of intelligence. he's narcissistic to the point of thinking that, according to him, he's one of the smartest people in the world, all while having believed that the 9/11 attacks were conducted to keep people from learning about his bullshit theory. the ctmu sounds like a theory one arrives at after eating one too many pot brownies, talking about a self-simulating universe linking the consciousness of a creator or simulator to that of each of us, which we have no good evidence for. anyone can make a theory on subjective or objective realities or the basis of consciousness itself, but it carries little significance until strong evidence of the matter is presented. he relates himself to historical philosophers and implies his superiority in intelligence compared to darwin, as the oc mentioned. he's an insult to the humble who have far more education and logical processing skills than him, but a hero to many who have contrarian or poorly constructed beliefs.
