What size is your waist that you fit into the Medium shorts? I'm like a 33/34 and I think medium (which i usually wear) is too small for me--kinda torn between L or XL. I hear their shorts are wicked tight. Any insights?

solid run short; I did have issue with it riding up in the thighs because of the length so be aware.
