    I was over in Newport IN.that weekend at the antique auto hill climb. Lot of Indiana pride in them Studebakers. That bullet nose Champ convertible sure deserves restoration.

      I really wish I could have filmed more. I remember my battery was running low. I have an auxiliary battery now. Looking back out was a VERY fast paced sale.

    @David W
    *I'm just as curious about whom it was that put these cars there? Do you know anything about the man
    that stored them in that area? Maybe an ex-studebaker exec or employee?*

    • @WoodyFixit
      @WoodyFixit  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes he was a Stude employee. I was graciously given priority parking for my 64 GT Hawk when they saw me drive past the sale. They said you don't have to park a car like that on the road. I spoke with the sons. Their Dad had restored a Studebaker for and with for each of the kids. Great people and they were very pleased with the sale results.

    Worst auction video ever. The auctioneer apparently had no idea what he was selling. No mention of year , make or model. And the guy with the camera was clueless . He would point the camera , but we the viewers had no idea if the camera was pointing atat the car on the block.
