I know I’m not alone but I just absolutely love Henry Winkler! He just seems like one of the greatest people out there! So kind and genuine!
yOU ARE ALONE WITH 100 MILLION OTHER PROPLE
I find it quite striking how his early fame, and brother it was intense, almost like the 2nd coming of Elvis, didn't go to his head and after all the teeny boppers faded away he never tried to reclaim it or chase after past glories. He's just an actor who enjoys his craft.
I just love him to pieces!
I met him at Vancouver Fan Expo a few years back, he is truly a gem.
He is allegedly one of the nicest guys in showbiz. I don't doubt it for a second.
When he says "Heyyyy alright" and the end of the Jump the Shark story, he sounds exactly the same as he did as the Fonz in the 70's.
Henry winkler dropping "F" BOMB,
Didn't know I needed to hear this today 😀😀😀😀😀
That killed me! 🤣
Same! 😂
When Henry says "Hey alright" at 2:24 that made me smile. He channeled "Fonzie" again so easily.
1:10 ALSO
Henry is such a class act he has the best stories and is always willing to share them.
The dude is 75. He's in great shape for 75.
I had the pleasure of meeting Henry Winkler at a comic con and he is absolutely the nicest guy imaginable. He probably met 1,000 people that day but managed to make me feel like I mattered to him (I'm not so egotistical to believe that I did, but that he would make the effort to project that is impressive).
It doesn’t matter how bad I’ve felt, I watch Henry Winkler and he never fails to make me feel better.
This man is a national treasure.
People have no idea how popular this man was back in the 70s. His performance in Barry has been nothing short of spectacular.
Some do I'm 52 and lived in the day of happy days when it was new
Night Shift is one of the most under-rated movies. Totally hysterical. Both Henry and Michael were fantastic. I still laugh out loud when I see it.
It's one of my favorite movies. I'd put it in my top 10, maybe 5.
I love how Michael Keaton breaks down the word prostitution! 😂 I mimic parts of that one frequently! “ from the Latin word meaning to shun!…”🤣 sadly, no one around me gets it.
"At that time, I had great legs." 😂😂😂 Even someone way in the back was laughing.
Henry is an example to follow. Genuine and human. ❤
If there is one celebrity in Hollywood who I could listen to their stories and never get bored,....it's Henry Winkler.
I work with a lady who used to be a TSA at the local airport. I asked her if she had run across any athletes/celebrities and which were the nicest and the most unpleasent. She didn't hesitate to say Henry Winkler was one of the nicest, down to earth and genuine celebrities she had encountered.
My favorite line in Night Shift, “Barney Rubble, what an actor”.
True! Also, "Hey Chuck? Who is this? Your wife?" "Fiancee" "Nice frame!"
Hahahahaaaa, one of the funniest unknown movies of all time
The relationship with Chuck and his wife in Night Shift was so damn funny.
Name of deceased..."Something Polish?"
Shelly Long tho! She was hot in this movie!
Netflix I know You're listening. Get Night Shift. Hidden treasure for sure.
I met Henry once and he is one of the most genuine, down to earth celebrities you will ever find! He is absolutely amazing and I could spend all day with him. Great interview and the planet is lucky to have this kind soul. May he continue to work and prosper. We love you.
Night shift is an all time hidden jem, such a fucking blast, lol
I want... I need a sequel.
Hey man, these people are dead!
LOVE IT
Night Shift was a fun movie.
Shelly Long in panties and half top and no bra. Nice
Henry is incredible, but I love that he pointed out the two writers who now get a king's ransom to punch up scripts. Writers are rarely given the credit they deserve, though they're always given the blame when things go south.
Henry Winkler is a gem!
Finally. Night Shift gets some recognition. Hold the phone Chuck!
Michael Keaton is a phenomenal actor...
Would you go so far as to say, "National Treasure" ? mmmmm? Lol
Night Shift is one of my favorite films. Listening to him talk about it was a treat. The whole thing was. He is incredibly funny.
"I went home and had a ginger ale. John Travolta went home and bought a plane."
Hilarious!
The Fonz along with The Duke Boys were my hero’s growing up. Kids don’t have a lot of hero’s like them anymore.
Yes. The guys from Chips were also heros to a lot of kids in the 70's and 80's.
About being typecast in Grease, he’s totally right. What wasn’t mentioned was that he appeared in a movie called The Lords of Flatbush, about a 50’s greaser gang which was the first role to gain him notice (along with castmate Sylvester Stallone). It led directly to being cast as The Fonz. Three 50’s greaser roles in a row and he’d be finished. Also, he was 33 years old in 1978 while Travolta was 24 - just a bit closer to high school age.
@MDK2
This is the second half of this segment. Watch the first half...they talk about the things you mentioned. And...the first half of this interview is even better than this half. Check it out. Fun stuff!
Sweet! I would love to hear him talk about Lords. I remember thinking the Fonz was more real because of that movie. He was just cool. Period.
@@CharmCityCrystals I will, thanks!
@@CharmCityCrystals Thanks for adding your comment! I'm definitely going to check that out too! 😃
Yeah, but one of those Pink Ladies in Grease looked about 40
Mad respect - humble and not afraid to show it !!
Henry is the best! Dan has to bring him back. The stories are incredible.
The Fonz dropping the "F" Bomb. CLASSIC!!!!!
Never bored with Henry Winkler
Yo! After all these years, Henry Winkler can still slip out that "Fonze" - Hey... Loved it.
Thanks Mr. Winkler for being one of the cool guys of the 70's for us little kids.
Henry Winkler is legend. And he is the Fonz!
Winkler is a national treasure
You gotta love Henry Winkler!
Night Shift is 100% underrated.
I missed so much Henry Winkler from between Night Shift and Better Late than Never. I hope he's around for a long time. What a guy.
He made the right decision with Night Shift. That role showed a different but equally great side of him.
Man, could Henry Winkler be any cooler? He is the man.
Henry’s attitude and personality is infectious! He was so good in Barry I’m so happy the show stuck the landing and will be able to live on as one of the greats and not one that “jumped the shark!”
I went home and had a ginger ale. Lol
Honestly, HW needs his own one-man show. I could listen to him talk for hours. What a tresure.
To hear him curse and tell stories is so awesome!
They way he slipped that in there at the end of the #1 for the next five years was beautiful.
I remember watching Happy Days, back in the day, it was my favourite show. Whenever I was in trouble, growing up, my parents would ask me, "Would Arthur Fonzerelli act like this?", or "Would Arthur Fonzerelli do that?"
It always kept me in line. It was also the only way they could get me to eat my vegetables. Lmao!
How can you not love this guy?
I watch a lot of celebrity interviews, one way or another. "Celebrity True or False" is one of my faves.
I love this man.
The two segments are easily the greatest True or False ever done.
Henry Winkler always seems like the most genuine, nicest guy you could meet.
I wanna hear more Henry Winkler stories.
Life is so short and I’m gonna try to spend my time with positive loving folks like mr winkler.
Henry Winkler is just the best. I Never grow tired of hearing from him.
2:41 this seems like such an essential parent/grandparent thing to say. It's not even about when you were born. My grandparents are in Henry Winkler's generation and I can absolutely picture them saying that.
This is what is amazing to me as a 54 year old dude … idolized him as a kid… today he is still my favorite human being
He is so good in Click
How can you not love Henry Winkler..
my favorite part in night shift is when Michael talks about feeding mayonnaise to tuna fish🙂
Microwave clothing
Nice frame
Edible paper
".... call Starkist in the morning." (Speaking into his micro tape recorder)
I'm never disappointed when I watch an interview with Henry Winkler.
A childhood buddy of mine met Mr. Winkler and he said Henry was the kindest man he ever met.
I got to hear The Fonz drop an F bomb. Legendary.
Wish he talked about the short lived tv show, better late than never, that was so good!!
Brandi Carlisle gotta love Henry being so excited about her concert that he pitches it during an interview.
What a legend
1/4 of Americans where watching Happy Days in its prime.. it was a ratings Bonanza..
Hey, Henry Winkler didn't mention Ricky McCormick, the national water ski champion who was waterskiing in that episode!
Great stories!!
When I see Henry Winkler I think Water Boy.
...in the high heels!
Love him since watching the re runs as a kid on Saturday afternoons after baseball games ( kids more: re runs were when they played old episodes at random on TV during the off season or after the show ended... NO STREAMING 😱🙄)
Awesome!!!
Winkler is great. I wish we were able to see more of him. A great actor and a great guy.
That’s Barry Zuckerkorn. He’s very good.
Dang Ol Fonz. Office in the bathroom😂😂
Such a likable person!!
@2:16 Love that attitude!
What a great story teller.
I could watch hours and hours of this👍😎👍
"This is Chuck telling Bill to SHUT UP!... [rewind] SHUT UP!... [rewind] SHUT UP!"
im floored this man is still alive
when Henry Winkler goes, so does my childhood 😢 STILL Fonzie cool aaaaaaayyyyye class act
Night Shift absolutely a classic film it’s one of those movies you can watch all the time and never stop laughing Michael Keaton absolutely killed it This is Bill telling Chuck to shut up I say that to coworkers sometimes they don’t know what I’m talking about then I tell them look up Night Shift then they crack the hell up and wind up watching the movie Raaadical
It's actually: "Hello this is Chuck to remind Bill to SHUT UP!"
"We got booze and broads in the car, under age broads"
Henry’s greatest gift to America is Macgyver.
I love Henry so much. He’s a national treasure.
Love Henry!!
Night Shift is an underrated classic.
2:17 Best part
2:17 is why he will always be the Fonz.
We must protect Henry Winkler at all costs.
Henry Winkler = Simply the Best..!
Henry Winkler is my favorite celebrity, by far. He is just great.
Good times!
I'm the biggest Fonz/Henry fan of all time.
I didn't realize they were #1 for 5 years after jumping the shark.
The coolest guy Henry Winkler 😎
"F'em!! Ayyyyyy" would love to see Fonz directed by Tarentino
Henry is a class act
Would love to meet Henry Winkler. He is the Coolest of Cool, aka The Fonz.
Truly a nice man.
That Barney Rubble is a good actor.
I remember Winkler working with Adam Sandler in the movie "Click" and in the remake of the "The Waterboy". He also did a movie (The Only Way Out) with John Ritter where he was the bad guy chasing John Ritter. I don't remember what it was called. Another movie was he was one of the ones murdered in a scary movie (Scream?). I don't remember what that one was called.
Class act.
This interview really jumped the shark
