Piper Sweeny - Kambala | 2023 Edstart CIS Athletics Championships

Originally a swimmer, Piper Sweeny had to change tact when pools shut down during the pandemic. She gave running a go to keep up her fitness, and in her own words “hasn’t been able to stop since”. The Year 7 student from Kambala is competing in the 1,500m at the 2023 Edstart NSW CIS Athletics Championship, and is looking for a podium finish.
