Do you really know the historical context behind such scripture? Everyone assumes what Paul was trying to convey. We need to realize that the scriptures were written in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. English is such a weak language and does not amplify the full weight of words.
Ah an appeal to intellectualism. We have had the Bible in English for 400+ years, if the translations - which all basically say or convey the same thing and which the church has enforced for 2000 years is so wrong why has it not been addressed? So are you saying the translators and the church have gotten it wrong? And the translation we all have is not the word of God?
@@michaelicornelius I’m not discrediting the translations. What I’m implying is that the reader is at a disadvantage. There are words in the original languages that English cannot express the full meaning or weight of the words. Example: Jesus used the word “Hell” many times in his teachings. There are no other words for Hell in English. In Greek there are three major references. Sheol, Hedes and Gehenna which all refer to three different things. Please take your time and look up Ty e meaning of those three and you will realize that the average reader would not know what Jesus was referencing. As the result their conclusion of the passage becomes erroneous. It helps to not just read but study the meaning of words from the original translations and learn the culture and historical context of the people during the times the subjects were being addressed.
@@michaelicornelius For many centuries in the Middle East and even today, the culture considers women to be subjects and were not allowed to speak in the assembly of men. When these women became filled with the Holy Ghost they began to prophecy in the congregation, but according to their tradition that was prohibited. So Paul being a Pharisee who was brought up in such culture even though filled with the Holy Spirit still cautioned the women to subjugate themselves to their traditional beliefs. This is the issue with most Christian’s today. We want to serve God but still subscribe to our traditional beliefs and rituals. That’s why Jesus contended with the pharisees because they prioritized rituals and traditions over God.

Women are pastors, priests, intercessors, warriors, sons of God, chosen ones, judges, apostles, justified in the body of Christ. Anyone saying otherwise is preaching church dogma not spirituality.
Woman can be a pastor. What about woman that has divine calling from God, God made it compulsory for her to go into the ministry. Women should be silent, should not be interpreted literally
Unfortunately, the Bible says otherwise. Woman can play an important role in the body of Christ but being a pastor is not apart of God’s design. 1 Timothy, chapter 3, verses 1-7 gives clear instruction and qualifications of who and what a pastor should be. If you believe the Bible, then this verse disqualifies women preaching.
@@divine_theology so is it enough to send that woman and those in church to hell? I would rather have all womna preach the word rather than doing worldly things
@@larteywoods5761 exactly. It was the ideal church according to apostle Paul, not Jesus. He said it so because back then, all the cultures surrounding Paul is patriarchal. A man won't listen to a woman in their time. Now, there is a cultural shift and that "IDEAL CHURCH" according to Paul is not applicable today. Imagine many woman wanting to be used by God but can't do so because of the outdated customs.
The bible is not gods word, Christianity is not a path to the Divine, nor is Islam. Wake up, if you seek true spirituality, transcend your conditioned beliefs and leave religion behind. How you live is what really matters, not the semantics of this nonsense...

@@michaelicornelius knowing that it was translated by "MEN" (who are obviously not perfect as no men will ever be perfect), the likelihood of mistranslations will always be in the picture... Think about it

So Paul had some false teachings? Yes he did. Some were
serious false teachings which I have posts on.
Personally, I don't think we need to be overly concerned about
translations. We do need to make some effort at times of course.
Women are pastors, priests, intercessors, warriors, sons of God, chosen ones, judges, apostles, justified in the body of Christ.
Anyone saying otherwise is preaching church dogma not spirituality.
It is not biblical it should not be conteoversial
You mean its not Pauline - becuase Jesus never said anything about it and God appointed Deborah over men - the God who does not change was He wrong?
Philip had 4 prophet daughters
That HAD NOTHING TO DO with the church or how the church was defined by the Word of God
@@Dave28gmail They were in the ministry
@@divine_theology but does that passage says that a woman is condemned to go to hell for preaching the word?
@@juanito5582absolutely not. Apparently Paul is more important than Jesus. What an idolatrous generation.
It's true Bible is not gods words. .but it's God's Word ...repent Jesus loves you hell is real
