  • Fitting up this S&W 4 point roll cage kit in 1.75” Chromoly! Good fitment once you cut everything down to fit, these kits are close but definitely need trimming to fit correctly. That goes for most cage kits like this! We ended up adding tunnel bars to tie everything together, I made these out of 1.625” Chromoly! Love how clean this one came out stay tuned for a possible tube front end on this as well! Thanks for checking out my videos, hope it inspires you🤘🏽

Looking good. I have a 10 point s&w in my car and I plan to buy their diy parachute kit for $96 and get it welded up this winter

Kind of an older video, so I’m not sure if you will answer, but I’ll ask:
What “Wall thickness” is the 1 3/4 tubing? Also, what thickness are the 6x6 floor plates?
Beautiful work! I’m currently building my ‘89 GTA, and the 10 pt cage is next.

      .083 1 3/4” Chromoly tubing, 6x6 plates are 1/8” thick!

For a car with a frame like a g body cutlass for say would cut holes in the body and weld it to the frame ? Or make a nut n bolt setup so you could still pull the body off ?

What are you referring to when you say NHRA doesn’t like risers? Thanks

The pads you weld to the floor for the cage to weld too, they don’t like boxes, they want it to the floor

@@jackfabrication ahhh i see thanks. It doesn’t look like you have risers. Nice job btw. I’m about to do the same to my third gen. i was thinking of making the plates on the driveshaft tunnel one piece
