I’ve had my 65 C1 for 2 years now and I’m still blown away now as I was when I first bought it the picture is amazing, I haven’t even had the urge to feel like I want to upgrade to the latest models as the C1 is still a beast and keeps up with the rest I’d highly recommend the C1 in 2023 as the rest are not worth the hype or extra money.
Thanks again Q, it’s nice to know which products have elements that outlast bells and whistles. The longer I have my S95B, the more I appreciate my C1.
I love my C1 thanks to you! Your videos are originally the reason that I decided to get that TV when I finally had enough money to buy a good one after years of saving up and as you said, thanks to your hard work it’s still killing it! My only regret is that I somehow missed the knowledge until recently about how you shouldn’t upgrade your TV because it can downgrade your picture quality, so I wish there was a way for me to get the TV back to. It’s day one software, but other than that, especially with the latest settings, you just released to us members, I love it!
🫡😤🙏thank you for trusting in me. I know what its like to work hard just to be able to afford something nice. Im so thankful i could help make that difference in find and getting the best, to reward all your hard work!
I got the LG C1 48' to compliment my Rtx 3080ti laptop. It ran 4K decently, but on games like squad, I would just set up the screen as a Ultrawide 21:9 36', and because of the pure black bars, it could pass as a standalone ultrawide monitor, I love it. I ended up selling the Laptop and built a PC with that money and it has a 4080 and 7600x. This upgrade doubled my framerate without adding frame interpolation, and I have no regrets selling the laptop. The case is a mATX, so if I needed to travel, I could easily pack it and bring my 16' 4K portable monitor that basically looks like a tablet along with it.
Well... I just bought a 77 inch C1 for $1600... And it's incredible in my opinion. I have a fairly dark room. It's plenty bright for my liking. Even squinted a few times during some HDR testing. Not sure if I would even want some thing with more eye searing brightness. Turned down some settings even. Love the C1.
@@josephoverstreet5584 I was at the Norfolk, VA Navy Exchange (NEX) on 30DEC. They had 2 77" C1s for $1600. Turns out people put a deposit down for a lay away purchase... The TVs were put in the warehouse since they were "reserved"... Then no additional payments were made. Since they were 2021 models and they didn't have any on the floor to "advertise them for purchase" and the 2022 models were on the floor (C2s and G2s). I happened to walk in at the right time. First visit to that NEX ever.
I have a 65 inch C1 and its amazing with all the settings from the quantum configs. Right now the 65 inch C3 is on sale for $1699 which is tempting to upgrade
Purchased my 77C1 in Apr/2021 and 55C1 in Jun/2021 (Xfinity Cable/4k streaming services, zero gaming). Both have been perfect and zero reason to upgrade to a newer version. I added soundbars to my OLEDs because the thin TVs means laptop sized speakers. I also have 55C9 since Jan/2020 also working perfectly with zero burn-in. The 55C9 shows its age when I get the longer wait circle when I navigate the menu or it takes more time to load streaming services like Netflix (zero issues once in the streaming service).
literaly bought an LG C1 65 today for 1100 usd from a norwegian outlet electronics store. the model had the panel replaced. brand new with 0 hours of use on it. The plastic sticker is still on the screen. looks like its an 2022 Evo panel - next up is the ps5 + psvr2, next month when they come in stock! very excite!
Man you are the best i love watching your chanel couse you are honest no bs that said i yust bought 77" C1 for 2400€ and its crazy good im from Slovenia by the way and i will join to your chanel soon couse i want to get the best picture out of my tv its good but i know i can get a better picture with your help hehe thank you for your honesty man big like😁
Man just found this channel and it came right when needed. I will gladly pay the $ 4.99 to join this group. I am not a high tech guy and all of the model numbers and terminology is over my head. I am a major sports guy and plan to purchase a 75 to 85 in unit before the Super Bowl. Not looking for entry level but also not trying to break the bank so any info or help would be greatly appreciated. The unit will be used to watch sports and an occasional movie we don't do any gaming. Thanks any and all suggestions.
Once I've bought the C1, I'll definitely join your channel just so I can get the proper calibration. Right now, I'm currently a happy camper with the LG C7 55-inch. Awesome video btw
Theres no need for C1 owners to upgrade until the tv is at the minimum 5 years old. Even then, there would need to be quite a break thru or big step in overal performance to justify replacing such a top notch tv.
I bought LG C1 in 2021, It was amazing and I could adjust the brightness and contrast setting, but now it is now default and I can't adjust the settings like before.

I think finding a good deal on the sea, one whether it’s open box, or used is way better than buying any of the newer versions. I much rather save the money and wait a couple years till QD OLED is gets perfected
I had a c4 65” delivered yesterday and honestly my c1 65” there isn’t much difference in picture quality the sound is better that’s all I have noticed so far

So my lgc1 oled 65 just died on me, it went crazy making all kinds of crazy sounds and flickering screen. Now it won’t turn on. Any ideas I owned this TV 3-4 yrs. Very upsetting for such an expensive TV.
Thanks for all your hard work Q - Hope all is well for you I just bought a brand new never opened C1 65inch from Best Buy in Canada - Had to pay $2000 Dollars or I could have bought Sony A80J for $2100 also new never opened - I choose the LG C1 because of your reviews on the C1 regarding motion - I get the TV on.Tuesday and I am wondering if I should update the TV when I get it - Once again thanks for all your hard work hope hope you have a great day.
I've been saving up to buy my 1st OLED TV. What would you recommend between the 65" G1 and the 65" C2 for the same price. Which one is a better deal and more future proof? Thanks in advance and keep up the great content!
Hey! Recently booked a 65" C2 for ₹1,78,000 (2185 USD). Couldnt find C1 model in stores here :( About to join your channel and I see a lot of calibration videos is for LG C1 in your channel, can I use the C1 settings for C2 ?
Hey Q, I'm torn between picking up the 77' A80k which I have seen in person on display and a C1 that I have never seen in person. Will the C1 deliver the same kind of colors and good picture?
I am exactly the same (!) >> I compared the 77" A80k for a looooong while in the show room to the 77" S95B / 65" C2 / Samsung QLED 8k etc... the detail / depth / colour / clarity was just amazing and really drew me in >> the problem, as Quantum points out, is the motion >> which is pretty poor in comparison to the other models... can I handle that? I don't know...
Hi There @Quantum just a question for you I bought a C1 in 21 was trying to get a 2nd but all out of stock here in Ireland. So I bought the C2. My question is if your pushing the panel above what LG are any other manufacturer are you voiding your warranty? The reason I'm asking is I was thinking about buying Samsung S95B but after seeing all the updates (downgrades) Samsung done to this TV I taught no I'll stick with LG. . My TVs are running from Nvidia shield pro.. I have went in and adjusted my settings in the so called secret menu and wow what a difference. I'M not a pro are anything but once something is good to my liking that's good enough for me, in opinion and again people please don't cancel me for my opinion but getting your OLED calibrated is killing the picture for me. I'M just wondering am I okay using the secret menu settings without it voiding the warranty. You run a good ship here so thank you for all the tips along the way
Thanks for your videos, if it weren't oled c1, what other lower-priced model has that movement performance? Currently at home I have an LG UQ8000 and a Samsung Q60A, and I definitely like the movement and colors better in LG. Greetings and thanks for your videos.
The LG c1 77 inch in €900 in my country at the minute. is it worth it? I have a ps5 (not really a gamer, odd game here and there). I'm very tempted. My current TV doesn't have 2.1 hdmi

Hey quantum I’m trying to see how I go about getting your best settings for the lg c2. I’ve heard you talk about it for $5 but I don’t know how to actually do that so I can get the settings. Thanks
I got a 55" LG C1 for 1,100$ on sale. So happy I got it instead of the C2. 😁 I checked my tv to see if it's set to bt709 and it was set to bt2020 by default. Maybe LG changed it in a update.
Hey have C1 best Tv I ever owned! Now I tried the bt2020 settting changed you mentioned and nothing happened and shows it’s on but I’m wondering if they locked it with an update or am I doing something wrong?
Hello where can I get these updates. Also I noticed playing on Xbox series x colors look washed out very dull. Do you have any settings for this. I like to see the colors pop but with good color tone. Any help would be appreciated 🤙🏼
Awe Q! Can’t wait to unboxed the C1 77” PUA this coming weekend and use Your brilliant knowledge of setting’s, to make this beautiful LG TV even more unbelievable. Thank U 4 all U do and be safe sir! 🙏 P.S. Q, if U have a sec, PLEASE text Me back, which setting’s I should start with. Thank U so much , I’m really appreciate this. 🤝😊
Thanks for the honest input. I was able to grab a 65” G1 floor model from Best Buy for $700. It’s got 5569 hours on it. Do you think it’s worth keeping? I can still return.
I would say... Just keep an eye on it. See if you can get the LG warranty. Supposedly, it has a 100,000 hour lifespan... That's a heck of a deal, mine was $1196, new.
Quantum…man, you always come through in the clutch bro. I seen a couple of great deals for a C1, but wasn’t sure if it was a good purchase. Then of course…I get a notification about you posting something I was curious about 😂thanks bro😎👌🏿💪🏿 #TheNumberOneBrandInHonesty
Purchased the 65 inch C1 months ago. Some nice features but if I had known the remote doesn't even light up on a 1700 dollar TV I would've chose differently. I watch TV in the dark like most humans. Also the Web OS is relatively slow. The wand stops a video at the slightest movement. No button press even required. I'm stuck now but LG will not be my next purchase.
Worst TV ever guys, The reviw is ok dont be offended but I had one for 2 years and it broke, it wont turn on anymore, when you look for ways to fixing it you realize LG has the same issue with all those Cx TVs save a lot of money and buy something different than LG
Web OS is complete trash and has been nothing but a headache, do not buy LG at all it's garbage. Also my C1 had a defective panel right out of the box and needed a new panel day one. but the worst thing is web OS, its hot garbage. Alexa doesn't work at all, not with my echo or the remote and I have to still use a wifi universal remote hub, this is fucking ridiculous. The TV doesn't remember my audio output preference and constantly reverts to the TV speakers instead of routing to my AVR, the CEC is pure shit and doesn't work at all it's totally broken just like the voice assistant integration. And the upscalling sucks and looks like ass. It also doesn't work right with my sync box and I have to constantly power off the TV and my sync box multiple times or else the TV will make snow on the screen, the TV's processing is shit and fucks up the signal and makes snow all the time, and I am using certified cables too, I know the TV can work with this sync box because it does work some of the time but other times I have to power cycle everything multiple times to get it to display without snow. I wish I never bought this POS and just waited and got the A80J which went on sale for the same price I paid for this garbage one week after my return window was closed, I will NEVR buy LG again, their software is trash. it's an OK panel I guess but it has big fat steaming pile of shit strapped to the back of it. Of course I have my doubts as to the longevity of this panel, I heard multiple reports of people getting the same issue I hade out of the box later on ,which is a line down the entire panel top to bottom 1/8th of the way in from the left side. The design of the back of this TV SUCKS and that is why they changed it with the C2, the repair guy confirmed this for me too, the panel has nothing protecting it and no support and gnat farting in its direction can cause it to flex and make the panel go bad and get a line down it so better be very careful you don't bump into it even slightly or the panel could be ruined and there goes your TV. Seriously this TV is a fucking garbage fire DO NOT BUY IT!

BT2020 was already automatically set when i got the C1. I didnt need to change that
Lg as a company and customer service is easily the worst company service you can experience outside of a plumbing or cable company-

I have a c1 and i hope it lasts a lot.i love it!
Super happy with my C1 totally worth it today holds up very well against Dearer models.A excellent console gaming TV
Interested to see a C1 vs B2. Right now a 77inch B2 is $2200 ($300 cheaper than same size C1 right now ((April 2023))).
The c1 is better

Do you think your c1 settings would translate to the c2. Would love some HDR and dolby settings

Do you have the LG CS over there in the U.S. ? If yes, what do you think about this TV?
Thanks in advance brother!✌

Hey quantum I’m trying to see how I go about getting your best settings for the lg c2. I’ve heard you talk about it for $5 but I don’t know how to actually do that so I can get the settings.

I got a 55" LG C1 for 1,100$ on sale. So happy I got it instead of the C2. 😁
I checked my tv to see if it's set to bt709 and it was set to bt2020 by default. Maybe LG changed it in a update.
Nope. You're in hdr which default to bt.2020, you gotta disable hdr and use sdr in bt.2020
Is Hisence using ATSC 3.0 tuners in all the Mini LED models for 2023 ?
Please I know it might be a weird question, but is it still ok a buy a C9 OLED from 2019 now? That’s apparently what I can somewhat afford😅.
I own a outdated C8 😅
You got any special settings for it and are they different from Rtings "calibration settings"
Are the new c1 settings applicable with c2?
I heard they are. I don't have a c2 so i can't test. If you try them let me know
Hey have C1 best Tv I ever owned!
Hi i want to the LG 55 CS OLED, what would be your take on the CS @ C1.
I’m rocking the c9 until I decide on qd Oled or mla Oled
Hey what price would you say is a good price for a 65 c1
Where can I donate the 5$ to make my proper C1 calibration? Send me a link, I’d appreciate that.

C2 settings please 🙏 😢 😆
I heard my latest settings work well on 2 series oleds from lg.
I got a LG CS 55 for a good deal in my country
Hey Q not to be that person but I your settings cost less than Eggs currently if that’s not a value idk what is anymore
This!☝️
Hey brother I got you. Definitely start with my latest settings! 👍
That's what's up! 😁🥂
Is the lg g2 better than the s95b?
Still got c1
I think my C1 has bad artifacting after an update that was done.
Oh man...☹️
Purchased the 65 inch C1 months ago.
Good tv
They are bringing back the DTS encoders.
c1 still worth it in 2024 hell no c2 or c3 definitely
Nah time to get the c4 to many upgrades at this point!
The design of the back of this TV SUCKS and that is why they changed it with the C2, the repair guy confirmed this for me too, the panel has nothing protecting it and no support and gnat farting in its direction can cause it to flex and make the panel go bad and get a line down it
so better be very careful you don't bump into it even slightly or the panel could be ruined and there goes your TV.
Seriously this TV is a fucking garbage fire DO NOT BUY IT!
