Cambridge Glass Museum - a visit from a combination collector and reseller - no hucksters in sight!

- Trusty continues his Huckster Road Trip through Ohio with a stop at the Cambridge Glass Museum. Run by members of the Cambridge Glass Collectors Club, the museum holds an unbelievable range of displays from its founding in pharmacy glass to its closing in 1954 and then reopening in 1955 with its ultimate demise in 1958. Tours are given by club members, and Anna was an absolute treasure with so many stories about the company and the people who worked there, this video can't possibly do it justice.

This is a dream vacation for me to visit glass museums! Since childhood watching my dad and grandfather stretch lead channels to repair stain glass church windows I’ve been fascinated with glass. Amazing what they made from it, the details, etchings, etc. Fascinating!
