We are not living in prehistoric era but we have evolved And there is something known as the cortisol curve which we study in mbbs So if we are doing something stressful work physical stress it's going to definitely disrupt the circadian cycle that is why there are terms like sleep debt etc Moreover in newer sleep medicine books there is complete sleep score system try to look it up

Whoever she is , she is not completely wrong.......our brain chemicals are different during sunrise and sunset and night is meant for rest melatonin level rises naturally and we should co-operate with nature , also the main purpose of exercising body is to feel good and healthy and doing it in morning makes your day go well so it's always better and more effective to do in morning , tho I'm not saying it is wrong to exercise your body in evenings . It's totally different thing if you go gym not to feel good and energetic throughout day but just to build your body .

I believe if you criticise our ancient traditions ,it should also be in a scientific manner ,well proved by research . Finally we all can conclude on basis of what actually work for us .first try leaving for 1 year atleast with all western tradition in India then according to Indian traditions in India , you'll see the difference urself
