They are still tools, but people always find ways to enjoy using tools. If you think of it as a toy, you shouldn't be allowed to so much as hold it, because a failure in discipline at any time can and has gotten lots of people killed. You have to be able to be responsible while having fun, notice his trigger discipline, making a point to show off properly clearing the chamber, putting the safety on and using proper PPE, demoranch is the ideal example of a gun owner, he just loves guns and is willing to do the important steps to use them responsibly so his love doesn't ruin someone else's.
