A CLASS 701 ACTUALLY IN SERVICE?!!!!!!!!!!

YES, THAT'S RIGHT PEOPLE! THIS IS NOT A DRILL! I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A DRILL!
After 4 and a half years of development, antics with the door operation and DfT, delays upon delays, it would appear that South Western Railway have finally decided to run a Class 701 in service to carry fare paying passengers. When 317Dan told me about this (thank you mate), I was more than shocked. But here we see it arriving and departing Staines on a frigid January morning.
The 10 car unit seen here, 701037 today ran the 2U91 1025 London Waterloo to Windsor & Eton Riverside and the return 2U92 1130 Windsor & Eton Riverside to London Waterloo services before sodding off to it's natural habitat at Wimbledon sidings.
I rode it to Windsor and back and...I'm not looking forward to seeing the rest come along. If they come along.
