Little update about Maureno from Explomo > Maureno is doing well, I had a call with him yesterday for 2 hours and we talked about all the things that happend. I want to clear up a few things going further. Maureno could not do anything about the legal troubles he is finding himself in, it also had nothing to do with exploring. It was. just a very unfortunate chain of events that happend... Maureno is going to update you all fairly soon with more information about the situation, we hopefully can get him back home as soon as next week. Let's all pray together that he will get home safely and he can return to his friends and family without trouble 🙏🙏
Hi Lesley, Thank you for updating us. So glad to hear, from you, that Maureno is well, and that you were able to speak with him for 2 hours yesterday. You, Maureno and Remon are such positive upbeat people, that's part of why I love your videos. I pray Maureno will be home soon and his legal issues resolved. Nancy from Cape Cod
Being an older lady with bad health, I truly live vicariously through you. I get to see amazing places all around the world! I really love when your doing the places wearing the period outfits! Sooo handsome; and you always treat everyplace you go with respect no matter what shape (good or bad) they are in. Thank you, and stay safe!
I am completely addicted to your videos! I love exploring these places vicariously through you. You are so respectful of the homes and their former occupants. Thank you!!
Merci! I love your work. You appear to me as a very nice person. Sometimes you surprise me being very conventional. If you were my son, I would be very proud.
The second house, while sooo much more decayed, was a true home, with kitchen, bedrooms, 1/2 bathroom! Sad that he was so very remote in his final years after the passing of his wife! 😢😞😰 Sad to see the decay & total ruin of their wonderful, Swiss life!😢😞😰 Thank you Leslie for sharing this wonderful adventure with us!!! I loved it ❤️
I've seen Happy Paradise with someone else - can't remember who but absolutely love it. What a tragedy if this delightful little cottage is allowed to deteriorate further. Like one or two other subscribers have said please give us an update on Maureno's situation. Thanks Gill 🇬🇧
@@BrosOfDecay just a reminder, that traveling up to such a cold climate that you need to make sure the antifreeze is the right amount in your radiator or it can freeze up. Just a old timer here lol 😂 My own kids have forgotten about it. Please, for us that believe in God, use “Oh, my GOSH”.
Beautiful place! The pictures on the ceiling are definetly composers. There is Wagner, Tchaikovsky, Verdi, Beethoven etc etc. I wonder why someone would have them in a room that is seemingly a dining room
So glad to hear Maureno is doing ok and will probably be home soon. You guys are the nicest, most respectful young gentlemen. I love your videos, they are fascinating. You are very lucky to explore these places. It's quite an education and we are lucky to go back in time along with you. Thank you for all you do and share. The best of luck to you both.
Glad things are looking up :) What a beautiful countryside. Walrusing in Crystal clear water . Home and hearth, that cute little fireplace in the kitchen. The home had a lot of touches that showed it was loved. The second home, I love gnomes and the wildwood seems to match them. The crystal chandelier, someone really loved this home. The families portraits were very unique and sweet. All of the ivy seems to have encased the house along with all of their memories. Thank you for sharing with us once again.
I absolutely loved the landscape and the second house you explored! All those clocks, the puppets and the paintings of famous musicians/ composers made the living room look strange but special! Thank you for another great episode!
Oh my gosh!....jumping into those cold water....you both are very brave to do that. Thank you for sharing your amazing tours on this channel. I totally love each episode. You are an excellent tour guide. Explaining everything in such a great way, and going through these places with the greatest respect. It's very sad to see these beautiful dwellings go to ruins. I wish the governments would step in and save at least what they can for charity...but sadly it doesn't happen. Take care. Lekker daggie verder. Groete van Suid Afrika.
The happy house was amazing. So cute and so remote. That’s like the kind of place I dream of living someday. In the middle of nation. I just away all of the craziness in the world. So sad that it is deteriorating, but I’m glad you caught it on video to at least preserve it that way.
Hey Lesley, I am loving the Switzerland videos! That was so much fun when you jumped into the lake!! Please be careful with the floors!!! Loved the locations. Do you think the second location could have been part of a movie location? It was so unusual. Thank you so much for bringing us on these exciting adventures! Love ya!
Thanks Leslie, another beautifully done, fun adventure. I'm really enjoying the way you are sharing a little "behind the scenes" at the beginning and end of the videos. I can't wait till the next adventure. Please be safe!
Heyy dear Lesley, Woow I am so happy that you are able to upload a new video this evening, despite of the problem with Maureno! Such an amazing and wonderful location you found also in Switzerland!! - This is a very beautiful looking living/ dining room with these medaillons high up on the wall. The chandelier provides this room with a certain elegance and splendor. Three beautiful old clocks are on the wall at the right hand side visible. This photo picture, which is showing the former American president Abraham Lincoln, leads me to the conclusion, that the former owner of this location might have had a certain connection to the USA. Also the chapel on the left half of the picture is so charming and has somehow an enchanted vibe, as I think. And we have with this location also a connection to Maureno of Explomo! How cool is that! He was exploring at the same location on Monday 28th September 2020. After that explore he visited me the same day and stayed to the next day, - and he told us full of enthusiasm about that location, which is like a "happy paradise". Therefore I am very excited, dear Lesley, what you are going to show us from this place. - Stay safe, bro, peace and many hugs. - Blessings and kindest regards.
Happy Paradise is one of the most intriguing places I have seen on ANY exploration channel! Kudos to both of you for your spirit of adventure in plunging into the lake!
Hello Lesley! Very sorry 😞 I can not see the premier because I with my daughter Natalia shopping somethings she is need in her apartment after her Graduation she will continuing living in San Diego doing internship in the University ( one month)and part time job for one company (Greatecology) . The panoramic is amazing , really crazy swimming in the cool water. I was remembering Maureno show the place. It is nice the house still stay equal. Thank you for your exploration! Always I am enjoying your point of view 😉 😊 ☺ 😎 😀 👍🤗. I am happy Maureno soon will go home 😉👍.
Hi! First I want to thank you for these amazing videos. I haven't got too many chances to explore places like these myself, so I really enjoy watching your videos. The second house was absolutely amazing. And the pictures of the famous composers (correct me if I'm wrong) - starting from the right side, 1st Ludwig van Beethoven, 3rd Giuseppe Verdi, 4th Piotr Tchaikovsky, 5thVolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 6th Frederic Chopin. Don't remember the 2nd though. Love your detailed descriptions and how careful you are with things. Keep doing this, even my kids enjoy your videos! Best of luck from Latvia!
Hi Ruth Bancroft, I just happened to read your wonderful remark about my way of composing my comments to the Urbex videos in the lifestream comment section. - Well, I am nearly speechless and so very happy, that you like reading my comments so much. This is why I love your channel… I like the mansions and the castles but I really love these old small country homes. They have so much character and charm. Great video as always 👍🏻☺️
I'm amazed by how little vandalism I see in the places on your channel. And that so many lovely objects remain, like the lacy silver plate at the second house and the crystal chandelier. Any abandoned places I've seen here in the US were stripped and often full of graffiti, beer bottles etc. I knew someone who furnished her home in part from abandoned homes. She took a mantle for her fireplace from an empty farmhouse. I wonder if that's been the experience of others in the US. ~ Thank you for your fascinating videos. ~
Hi Lesley & the other young Man, thanks so much for the update about Maureno, prayers going out for him to come home to his family! Wow the drive thru the fog was a bit scary & then for the both of you to jump in freezing cold water was so chilling & all the ice & snow everywhere! Now coming to the first house, it was a shame that the ceilings fell thru & yes it was not safe to go upstairs when the floors were cracking downstairs! Now drive that took you to the 2nd cottage everything was so green for the scenery of Switzerland! Now for the 2 of you to go down the hill & cross the stream with rocks, was a bit scary! Coming to the Happy Paradise cottage with so much ivy that covered everything, I too believe this was a vacation home for the couple to stay & then sad the wife died & then the husband. It was a bit quirky with all the pictures on the walls & all the clocks next to each other, & all the Gnomes! Now in the 2nd cottage , the plate you picked up & said its copper, I don`t think so...looks like Sterling Silver. Copper turns black or green, if not polished all the time! This was a exciting video you have done this time, the scenery alone was beautiful of Switzerland! Thanks again for a Great video, stay safe & take care! Love from Rantoul, Illinois USA
I look forward to every Sunday watching Bros of Decay.. this location was amazing… the memories that were left behind…thanks for another great documentary!!

I would never get to see these amazing places if it weren’t for you all thank you Leslie I’m loving this channel I’m fairly new here and I’m going back to watch some of your previous adventures ❤
Love the trip sights along the way; taking a swim in the icy river, and driving on the hwy. at 22:43 I believe that’s an animal bridge built over the highway so animals can have a safe crossing? I wish we had those in the USA. We’d love more sightseeing along the way! Thank you for your fascinating travels!
This reminded me of the playhouses my friends and I used to make. We'd gather up whatever we could find and cobble together a 'castle' or Fort or town. When our fathers got angry with us for taking nails or tools, we'd straighten old nails we found and reuse them, with rocks as our hammers. So much more fun than video games or television 😀
Hi Carey H, I fully agree, that is really an amazing location, which was already explored by Maureno when he was in Switzerland two years ago. - Peace and kindest regards,.

You are great! I've seen a lot of videos introducing the ruins, but no one has the same respect for the deceased as you.

Amazing video, thanks so much for posting. And for sharing your chilling dip, what an eye opener!!😊❤️
Such quirky houses, fairytale homes. The wooden bridge/barn in the first video was incredible. I wonder if the large picture in the last room was of the house in it’s original state? The houses were like dolls houses, 🥰 Thank you so much for all your fabulous films.
