    So many thanks! You were so clear, and instructive. Truly, big help. Well done.

    So let me ask you this, if you use this device do you still have to use liquid chlorine?

    There is a cap on the top of the chlorinator, you should pop the small cap off, remove the bolt on top, the press tap and twist off. If not you will reduce the life and mess up the seal.

      Rather replace the seal every once in a great while than jump through all those hoops every time I check/add chlorine.

    Can you pack the tabs in there or is there a reason you are only using 4-5?

    Sir, how does the water get in and out of the chlorinator? The black vertical tube that is inside is that the discharge side?

    Is it ok to leave tabs in the chlorinator overnight when the pump is off? I was told not to as the pressure could build and it could "explode", but it's becoming a pain to remove the tabs every night and put them back in every morning. Thoughts?

      While I have heard of this, I have never removed them from mine and had zero issues for the last 2 years of owning it. I just don't fill it to the top, but rather 3 to 5 tablets at a time.

    Thanks for posting . How do you know when the pucks are fully dissolved . Or do you just open and check once in a while ?

    • @easyclearpool
      @easyclearpool  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Open and check them, after awhile you'll know approximately how long they'll last until you need to replenish

    Should the chlorine tabs dissolve over time in the chlorinator? I installed a chlorinator last year and noticed during the course of the summer that the tabs I placed in it never seemed to dissolve.

      Yes, they dissolve. I usually replenish about once per week.

    Thanks for the vid. But... Where you posted a link to the chlorinator and the tabs you used... You posted two copies of the link to the chlorinator, not the tabs. The link you posted under the tabs was the same link to the chlorinator. Thanks

      Oops! I will have to to fix that. Here is a link to the individually wrapped tabs I use. amzn.to/2XJIBBJ

    Can you put liquid chlorine in there as well or just tabs?

    • @easyclearpool
      @easyclearpool  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tablets only, the liquid wouldn't stay in the canister but a few seconds.

    What do you do when you can't get the lid off

    • @easyclearpool
      @easyclearpool  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have it to tight, use a hammer and chisel / flathead screwdriver to get it to turn with a few taps.
