Several downsides I see with this asset. First ,it is very very heavy making it difficult to deploy into a battle space. And it is a large bulky target making it vulnerable to enemy fire. I guess it all depends on the nature of the battles being waged obviously. It certain battle engagements this may prove worthy.
The specs were drawn up while we were fighting in iraq and afghanistan, so it has to have good resistance to IED's, which is why its so high off the ground, and it needs armor for surprise attacks. This vehicle is definitely not something you would take to the front lines because you can see it from 10 miles away. but there isn't any other vehicle besides a tank that you would go on a patrol with
