Brilliant stuff. I used to have so many swing thoughts - like 10+ things before every shot. After watching your stuff, the only thought is to swing naturally. I just love the idea of reacting to movement and forces versus awkwardly manipulating one's body and the club. Thank-you!!!
Thanks Marcus! I’m a senior and bought new clubs with graphite shafts. I’m getting the height and decent angle into the greens I need but have a hard time feeling the club. I hit my Vokey wedges well because I can feel the weight. Any suggestions? I’m thinking of getting back to metal shafts but worry about height. Thank you. I love your videos. I’m able to draw the ball now.
It took me some time to understand that starting the motion was critical but also counterintuitive. I worry less about the swing half as much since I feel once I am at the top of the backswing I am finished. The rest of the swing is just reaction. It feels easier, is more consistent. less dispersion and the ball goes higher and farther, which is fine with me. So, there is demand across the pond as you doubled your sessions here. Good Luck!
Sounds like you're on the right track. The fastest part of the swing is involuntary and we want to make as much of the swing as involuntary as possible. Just like throwing, hitting or kicking 👍
You're giving away the farm, Marcus!! 😂😂 Great video here. Outstanding. This is what I teach. Do you have a cert program for instructors? I'm an authorized tgm instructor and have worked with Dr. Kwon for one session. I was planning on his cert program but I think your approach fits my style.
@GRFGolf count me in. This is how I teach and it fits perfectly. I signed up on the site this morning so you have contact info. I think this philosophy has a positive influence on coaching.
Marcus, should you feel pressure in your lead foot even during the takeaway and backswing? I find it harder to get back to the lead side unless I keep some noticeable pressure on the lead foot into the ground.
@ good to know. I’ve been putting too much pressure on the trail in the backswing and trying to get back to the lead side forces me to turn with the shoulders and flip the club.

That's awesome, thanks David 👍
What a superb exercise! Thank you. Super handy that it can be used on the course too.
You're very welcome! Thanks 👍
Hi Marcus great stuff - a bit like the Swingmagic clubs wwith a split trail hand grip that you slide up the shaft
Fantastic explanation of how to let the body do its thing!
Thank you and hope it helps 👍
Thanks Marcus, one of your best
Thanks Glen, hope it helps 👍
Another excellent tutorial to watch❤❤ Now the execution part😂😂
👍😂
This is brilliant - thank you
Glad it was helpful 👍
Brilliant Marcus the Master!🙏🙏🙏
👊
Another superb instructional video.
Thanks, hope it helps your game 👍
I keep finding new ideas on how to be free with the swing through these videos, from 58 degree to driver, scary at first
The leap of faith is worth it 👍
Great stuff!
Thanks, hope it helps 👍
@@GRFGolf I've been trying to leave several more in depth comments but for some reason they vanish...hence the 'great stuff' comment!
@@MartinhoAlto Sorry I haven't seen them
@@GRFGolf Really just saying that as a disability golfer with footdrop, the way movement is incorperated in the GRF way really resonated with me.
@GRFGolf and that as a new golfer, I've been coaching myself using your videos...really hope to get down for a lesson at some point.

Thanks Rob, really appreciate your support. Gonna look at doing a 2 or 3 day coach ambassador workshop over the winter and possibly a mentor program.

Any tips on what to focus on when adapting this for driver?
Swing the clubhead on a shallower arc around the body. Focus on a draw arc.
Hopefully coming up in January
Awesome, look forward to helping you 👍

There's always pressure on the lead foot, just more on the trail when initiating the backswing.

Which club do you recommend we practice with mainly?
Mix it up, driver is great intermittently 👍
