  • Combat Knife was brought into our training systems by C. E. Smith an Airborne Ranger / Army Ranger Green Beret Officer, who served 3 tours in the Vietnam War as part of the Phoenix Project, as well as Grandmaster Long who taught Combat Knife to U.S. servicemen during Vietnam.
    This training has been advertised and taught at our schools since the mid 1960's and begins day one at Imperial Combat Arts, starting with the same course our past Grandmaster used to train U.S. servicemen. Knife training then progresses into an advanced knife-fighting system alongside Axe, Club, and Handguns that blend with our high level martial arts.

    This helps to develop the hands “metal” energies as well especially when conditioning has come along far enough that it can be used with many similarities
