I saw Korn and Slipknot together on Halloween. Jonathan Davis came out dressed like Where’s Waldo 😂
It is still so crazy how much power that dude had in that moment. If you weren't alive and of age at that moment in time..... You will just never know
Dude I just saw them live in Atlanta, Georgia 4 days ago with 50,000 other fans and they STILL rock it like THIS!!!
Easily the best band at Woodstock 99. They absolutely fuckin slayed that crowd. And that's saying a lot considering the bomb ass bands there
Might not have been the best all time band there considering the crazy line up, but they absolutely had the best performance of the festival
I’m gonna get crapped on for this but Limp Bizkit and Kid Rock put on some pretty good shows. The Offspring did a great set too but it didn’t really live up to the other three.
My defense of Limp Bizkit is their cover of Thieves, and for Kid Rock it’s his finale playing every instrument, and bawitdaba was freaking amazing too. Again, just my opinion. I think they all did equally awesome.
Megadeth and Metallica Would beg to differ. Sorry but a band that cannot solo, is not a top band

This is the first song off their first album. What a way to kick off the Korn experience back in the day. The whole album is pretty great. I prefer to listen to their first four albums although they do have many songs after that I really enjoy. I’ve tried to give their newest stuff a chance, but I don’t know… “Ball Tongue” “Somebody Someone” “Clown” and “Thoughtless” are some good ones.
To me they got a little stale after untouchables

If you listen to the music today you can tell Korn started it all. I absolutely love Korn

saw korn in vegas in 2000 and that show is definitely in my top 2 live experiences with Slipknot 🤘🏻
Korn are so freaking good. The serenity of suffering their second last album so good especially lyrics wise. Also cold harder and generally their last album also amazing. They get better and better as time flies like fine wine

I was 19 when this happened but hadn't a fuckin clue as I had just come to the US for college and was a big hip hop head NEVER EVER listened to any metal or rock at all. Now 23 yrs later I watched the Woodstock Documentary on Netflix and when I saw these guys open with that slow build up and that scream "Are your READY!?" I just got chills and seeing that crowd bounce like that I could feel that energy though the TV I can only imagine what it must've been like to have been there AND been a fan of these guys. I mean wow what an opening. I can't stop rewatching it, I've become weirdly obsessed by it I can't explain....
I was in the crowd that night and of all the live shows I have ever seen this was one of the best. The energy was unreal. Check out Rage against the machine set from Woodstock.

I was there. Bout 20 feet from stage center. Insane. My feet did not touch ground for first few seconds during wave

I saw them about a year ago and they still bring it just like this. It’s insane. Great band and especially a great live performance band.
And on a side note, I’m only 36 and this makes me feel so God damn old. Bill Clinton was still President when this happened. BILL…….CLINTON.

That is not what it means actually. You just proved that you aren’t a true fan if you thought that. The band was literally named by an argument they had with their manager Larry about a name… so they threw out a random word “corn” then changed it to a K at the front, and a backwards R inspired by the toys “R” us logo, because one of them worked there. Yeah… Ypure not that much of a fan, sorry 👎👎😴😴😴

When he says "are you ready" and the music starts some dude in the crowd nailed me in the nose, fell to the ground, got up 1000 feet from where I was originally standing.

*Statistically actually, Limp Bizkit had more albums sold between them and Korns current album at that time, Limp Bizkit had more paid downloads, and had more #1 rated songs off their album during 1999 (nookie, break stuff, rearranged)….and before that, LB’s “faith” was higher in every category than Korns #1 song “Blind.” So no… sorry… Statistically, Limp Bizkit was better.
