Again some problems, that tarp roof flipped down by the wind and covered my camera a few times. And a WASP landed on my face during the race freaking me out!
Good to meet you at Crestwood John. Hope you can make some races next year too. Was a pretty bad turnout for that race, but we had some good turnouts earlier in the season. Usually most of those truck classes are separate, especially etruggy. I was surprised they ran the together.
That servo issue might also be because it's power hungry and I'm only feeding it 6V BEC from the Quicrun 120A ESC. A Pro ESC with higher BEC voltage might solve it.
Yes I would think that is likly the issue, but like in my other comment, please let us know if there are anymore issue's, as this is a highly recommended servo from many. I do think HV will fix the problem.
That sucks about that higher end servo. I considered getting it when I was building my latest e-buggy, but instead went with a powerhobby 729 brushless servo. After seeing g this I'm glad I went with the one I did... Please keep us up to date, on what happens with it from here? Great video! Thanks!

Might just need more amps at 6v than the esc can provide. External Bec would probably solve it

No I won't be there. Didn't book today off to go and learn the new layout before the race tomorrow. Otterville is a 9 hr drive each way for me.
can you run 1/8 scale buggy tires on this truggy?
No, this is for 12mm hex 1/10 scale wheels.
@@netcruzer Thank you sir.
Wow etruggy with 10th scale that's not a fair race at all
