I'm from Spain and I can't find those wheels around here. Can you tell me the brand and model of those to buy online? And if you know of some more wheels for 1/10 truggy I would appreciate it. A greeting from Spain.
What brand of tire are you running on the truggy? I run aka on my techno 1/8 truggy and buggy but I’m having trouble finding the right aka tire for the mini truggy.
I recently purchase that kit. But theirs not a lot of tire selection for out door tires most of them all are for clay… I would like to know or you know what type of wheels are from DE Racing they are two types . T22 or T4.2?
Depending on the surface you might be able to run carpet tires. There's actually a bit of a similarity between running on carpet and running on relatively loose dirt - you want the tire to dig into the surface, kinda like soccer cleats. Honestly, it's really the hard packed stuff that got the short end of the stick when it comes to tires and 1/10th scale platforms, since clay tires aren't aggressive enough and carpet tires are too aggressive.
@@netcruzer With a few fans added for ventilation you could probably run Nitro there. Except for the fact that 2WD Nitro truck has been dead for a decade now and the only trucks in the class are the Traxxas trucks, the HPI Firestorm and a few underground conversion kits for the Associated and Losi stadium trucks...
I want tekno to be my first kit. I really want the et410 but it is on backorder. Should I wait until it comes out of backorder or should I get the eb410.2, which is $30.00 cheaper than the et410?
To answer this question the et410 is a great truck but an eb410 will be a lot more popular but ive seen a et410 and don't know if i want either or but just wanted to ask have you decided on which to get
@@YoungWide I just bought the eb410.2 just finished building it to a roller this past weekend. It is incredibly tiny! Not use to cars this small. The arms are short and stubby. Thinking it will be hard to break. I still need electronics. After electronics for this, I'm going to get the eb48 2.0 and start my tekno fleet.
@@dynasty4851 im thinking of getting a sct410.3 or an et410 or something tekno or arrma if my local bashing spot opens but i personally haven't seen anyone bash a tekno very hard so ill wait in till other brands come out with new things during the winter months hopefully someone comes out with something new
@@YoungWide I would say get tekno before arrma but I never tested any tekno cars yet until I get my electronics. I just heard tekno are a better built cars. However, you will not go wrong with tekno or arrma.
@@YoungWide ARRMA's pretty much strictly a bashing brand. The 6S platforms are decent (since they're based on Team Durango's 1/8th scale platforms) but heavy. The 3S platforms are nonviable for racing for the most part (you can kinda get your feet wet with a Senton but they're not very adjustable, and the other 3S platforms don't even have classes for them).
I have to confess I really don't like mixing into SCT classes like this, especially with the 4WD SCTs. SCTs have an unfair advantage in that they can get away with contact where open-wheel vehicles do not. Your track has some really respectful racers. When I tried to run a Losi 22 in a 2WD Mod class that was _technically_ mixed but people only ever ran SCTs, it was definitely noticeable that the buggy was vastly superior in performance but was completely incapable of actually passing the bigger trucks - any attempt to overtake resulted in a wreck due to contact. People at that track had a "rubbin's racin'" mindset and wouldn't stop if they gained a position after taking someone else out, nor were they penalized for it - reason being that SCTs were just far more tolerant of being banged around and wrecks between two trucks happened infrequently as a result.
Most racers run 4mm or 5mm bullet connections. I’m all setup for 4mm. They work great. This is first time I’ve had a poor contact but they were brand new and compressed.
Nice👍 I actually like the look of truggys
Wow, first time viewer just got a et410 of my own . bro good racer!
Mini truggys r popular down here in pa.. you'll love it
Need more Truggies

Thanks. More racing in tomorrow’s vid!
Love the look of the Truggy

Nice job! Cool Truggy.
Great comeback, nice driving..!
Looks quite slick!
hi, what motor, esc and servo do you usually use in competitions?
Great run 👍 I didn't know you guys were still racing SCT at the new track. The ET looked a lot more nimble than the SCTs
Yup and it’s more popular that stadium truck I just was ready for a change.
Nice run,moving pretty quick.

You have terrific sportsmanship! Why do they cover their Transmitters?
It’s cold! No track heating (pits are) + Canada winter. Frozen fingers.
@@netcruzer oh dag 😂🤣. I thought it was some secret like drag racing.
Great first racing 👍 congrats 🏁
Which bullet connectors do you use on your battery?
What number pinion tooth are you running?

This should be covid-19 relief!
Can’t race here in New York. Tracks are closed and bad here.
Wish I could race carpet :(
Wrong tires for Clay right lol?
Ya I want one bad , but they can only run with 4wd buggy at my track
cool video buddy, Like 👍 😉 🤘 👍
What motor do you run
An old Gen1 Tekin Redline 7.5T
the tire got no bite? looks slippery dude. or underpowered.
nvm I saw the rest of the vid
Hey John do they have a 1/8 scale truggy class?
No 1/8 scale allowed at Electrosport RC. It’s 1/10 electric only.
