Almost the same as my 2016 Sierra but I like my side view mirror is big two pieces towing mirrors with power fold and signal lights plus the front set was setting of three not two the middle you can convert to third set. If they have that options Probably I will upgrade my truck.

Seat bottom seat cushions are a lot shorter in these 19's. So if your over 5-9 you will be VERY uncomfortable. My current Explorer is the same way and its horrible. So GMC/Chevy just lost a customer for being cheap

Justin Reily I'm very aware of the interior similarities. I was all over every inch of this truck at a local dealer few days ago. The 14 and earlier models had an interior that was lagging as well. It is what it is, and I think most people will agree on the interior assessment.

I personally think it is hideous looking. The design of the interior is not far off from the 2014- 2018 models. Glad I bought a new 2017 Silverado last year.

Too much Electronic BS; Enough already. It is a truck; not a damn space craft. And that start stop technology is a bunch of crap. We will see how that works out waiting for the engine to restart; tranny pressure come back to stomp on the gas to make a quick go when needed. Too many garbage features. Even that tail gate, Looks nice in concept, but with all the moving parts it will likely have broken pieces in short order in real world use.

That would be my Dad, My Great Gran Pa was from the Model T era. Even My Grand Father never owned a car. And my Dad and I agreed; electronic ignition was a good thing. It fired the spark a whole faster and more accurate than Points and condenser did.
I was already driving when electronic ignitions came out. I remember well the days of adjusting point gap, timing, and Dwell, and then adjusting the carburator to obtain optimum idle. Electronic engine/drivetrain controls are a good thing. But a tailgate that opens with a push button is a gadget. couple of slap together saw horses has more functionality than that tailgate. It does not provide much value to the consumer other than a look at this factor, but rest assured it jacks that price up just a little more to increase the manufacturer's profit margin though.

SHould have given us a better view of the dash screen. :) Looks dated and cheap in the cabin. No "Auto Park Assist (self parking)". 2019 RAM's have it. 2018 Ford F150's have it.

"Quality materials." LOL. Yes, nothing but the finest, thin plastic money can buy. Gotta love those mile-wide panel gaps around the glove box, too. That tailgate is goofy and bound to break. You know that's going to get dented by hitch balls and scratched against curbs and sidewalks when the driver forgets about how far it drops down.

Tailgate is stupid. Wheel wells are weird shaped. The roller on the steering wheel is outdated and the mirrors are the killer for me. GM failed big on this and the Silverado.

Still has that same old grey-ish black-ish plastic interior that GM's been using for decades. My 03 Cavalier looks like the same quality.
Cars and trucks are getting very expensive to fix. First thing you need is a scan, then some type of module or sensor needs replacing and that’s at the very least you will need.
There is a lawsuit in the states against these vehicles for having surging stuttering and hard shifting transmissions... buyer beware! GM replaces only one component at a time so by the time they get to the end of the trans... it’s screwing up from the front again.
How do I know... 2018 all terrain 1500 had 8500 miles on it the last 5 months I owned it half the time (honest) it was in there shop.
How long before the new buyer forgets his trailer hitch is installed and drops the new fancy tail gate panel and dints it? Anyone else notice that issue?

Alot of great driver assist features with this, im sure the other auto manufactures have something along the same lines in place with their auto models as well, that said, why is all the driver assist safety feautures not a requirement, alot less collisions, accidents, pedestrians not being hit all the time which happens more times than not, definetly will help with the ignorant asshole drunk drivers which is unfortunite but needed, so why is all this great tech not a standard with every vechicle from every manufacture, because i do remember all auto makers going to the government asking for stimulus packs when obama was pres & with trump as well, & we get all this great driver assistance tech but @ a swildering price tag, like cars are not expensive already, the more supped up a vechile engine is from a manufactuor the more all this new driver saftey assistance should come standard, it should be standard regardless but if they wanna put faster hogs on the road then they better be for making all this new saftey tech a standard across all vechiles

Anyone who’s a GM fan knows it’s all about the drivetrain and the way GM’s drive and handle. Unfortunately in typical GM fashion, however the interior are terrible in regards to function they buttons and switches have too many functions they are complicated and hard to use while in motion, and the thumb wheels in my opinion are silly. Tell me why GM changed the typical manner of button placement of the cruise control. Of all things that should be uniform to all vehicles because it allows intuitive operation without distractions while driving. I just know one thing as much as I feel that these trucks are nice overall, I’ll never buy one, at least new, because they cost way too much and it’s not a good idea to spend money that can still buy a house or property in some areas on a truck that doesn’t return any investment from its purchase.

About the price of the new trucks. In my opinion I think It's not bad if you buy new every 3 to 4 years and keep them in good shape with low miles. I always get the Sierra 1500 and get 25,000 to 30,000 for a trade. So when your only paying half of the cost of a new truck it's not that bad.
On the other hand, if you buy a 55,000 truck and keep it for 9-10 years and put 100,000 miles on it and then trade it in your gonna take a big hit. It will be like starting all over.
When the warranty is gone time to get a new truck.
Horrible. Always been a GM guy, went through the GM ASEP program and I think GM made a Ford copy body style. Headlamps, side badging.

Love my 09 Sierra but I have to admit, this new truck is FUGLY !!! I'll be keeping mine. Cracked dash and all.
The previous Sierra was big competitor in my truck purchase this year, but the redesign just doesn't do it. I'll take my outdated Tundra any day. Good luck to anyone picking this up without the extended warranty.
Just a word of caution - the new 2019 Silverado-Sierra twins can NOT even be ordered or does NOT come with the “power brake and foot pedal” adjuster.... Think about such a large truck without this option....If you have short legs, you have to move up the seat close to the steering wheel, which has an airbag in it.
This is normally a pretty standard option for most trucks (GM, Ram, Ford)...I own a 2017 Silverado, but some “bean counter” within GM axed this very useful feature......why?
Pro tailgate puts the others to shame, rear bumper steps, extra wide bed, AC outlet in the bed and cabin, 12, (yes 12) welded in place bed tie-downs plus 6 optional tie-down spots, storage behind the rear seats (tire pump, hand guns), storage under the rear seats, full size spare..plus the GMC cheaper than the others even in the Denali trim (heads up display, surround camera vibrating seat alerts (instead of a chime))...best value by far.
UPDATE: I bought a loaded SLT with the STANDARD size bed. With the gate down and the "step" flipped up 4' x 8' drywall and plywood will fit FLAT on the bed with 2 inches of clearance between the wheel wells and about 5 inches of clearance between the back of the bed and the flipped up step. With the AC outlet in the bed we can cut our pieces right at the truck if we need to. Just an awesome truck so far.

Still look like Ford F-150. I’m a GMC guy and I love the small yellow lights they used to have them for the front lights. They didn’t put it on 2016 and anyway the front face started looking like Dodge Charger at night. And for the 2019 became looking like f-150.

Small instrument panel screen is a travesty. I prefer the 8" screen on my 2016 F150 Lariat. However, I do like the features on the entertainment screen. Lots of stuff I wish Ford would have.
