I usually make stuffed cherry tomatoes, cream cheese, crab, horseradish with breadcrumbs on top, kinda simple but bug hit, can even be heated on grill offset, when holiday party I make stuffed littleneck clams with chorizo and Calabrian Chiles.. still easy but isn't cheap lol. Otherwise basics.
There's a saying that you eat with your eyes. You definitely do with this dish. The colours just pop and it looks so appetising and I bet it's just as delicious. Thanks for another great video Mike.
Nice combo of bean salad. I often make beans salad with the peppers, but I haven't roasted them. Think I'll do that next. I also add some Feta cheese in there too.
Sup mike, this looks great, like the roasting peppers in it, if make more base other than beans, bet make a great Mac salad, even summer potato salad. Oh maybe add some Mac to the bean salad? 🤔, I love bean salad, new girlfriend hates when I eat lot beans, idk why🥺🤣😂, tyvm be here all week 😂🤣, going to bring to friends anniversary cookout sat, I'll make Thurs or Fri night. Tyvm tc
@@ChiliPepperMadness I'm gonna let you know lol. Already thinking to try a little, but 3 bean salad for cookout, gonna sit overnight or 2 nights? If can will do Thursday, bet flavors get better. 👍
It's up to you. Having it sit for 24 hours allows the flavors to really meld. 48 hours will give those flavors even more time to develop and intensify. I recommend making it twice and comparing. Let me know your preference ;)
@@ChiliPepperMadness sup mike, sry replied after cookout but idk? Made Thurs and Fri, say morning brought the Thursday night one, and chimichurri sauce, gochujang sauce from chicken, the bean salad was huge hit, proof was only like a taste left. Ended up grilling all the chicken so he could enjoy anniversary party, regular bone sucking sauce seasoning, s+p chimichurri and glazed rest with gochujang sauce, everyone happy.. I was admiring garden, huge, he gave me basket of chilies, tomatoes, and some bell peppers, whatever was ripe enough.. checked TH-cam Tonight because we just finished off one made Fri night, 3 days and was great. Made stuffies and fried clams with bellies with the salad, oh corn lol. Made me think of have any spicy recipes with clams? Stuffies I add hot chorizo (cured) and Calabrian Chiles, only recipe really know is the stuffing for studies, stuffed shrimp, and baked fish, other than hot sauces any ideas? Tyvm👊
I had a lentil salad with a smilar approacch which I love a lot. usually it goes with a milder avocado dressing. BUT. This goes to the next garden party. Most likely I will substract the chickpease and substitute for.. something. Not much a fan of chickpeas outside hummus. Maybe canned sweet corn or some white beans or such.
We had fresh bell peppers, jalapeño, and cilantro waiting to go bad after we left for vacation. Instead I made this. “Why are you making that, we have enough food.” My wife took one bite before I got it into containers and she changed her tune. Less produce will go to waist, it can be eaten cold, and it’s the healthiest food we packed. Thanks!
I had some leftovers, but how do you compete with homemade refried beans, homemade Jersey Potato Salad, Homemade Jalipeno Poppers (wrapped with bacon), Louisiana Hot Links, Flank Steak, Fillet Mignon, Hebrew Nationals, and raw Serrano's? I tried adding this to my own version of Brown Spicy Hot Rice. The rice was made up of (the cups Aroma Rice Cooker supplies) 6 cups Brown Rice, 1 cup Lentils, 4 Tbsp Crushed Red Chili Pepper, 1/4 cup Olive Oil, 2 Tblsp. Cilantro, 2 Tbsp Knorr Chicken Boulion, aprox. 1 cup frozen peas & carrots, fill the cooking pot to the 10 cup mark, stir, and cook. The rice, and the 3 bean salad go as well together as ham, chilies, and cheese in an omlet.

I’m going to make this for a function that I am going to. Thank you this it looks delicious. Question garbanzo beans are chick peas?
Enjoy! Yes, garbanzo beans and chick peas are the same thing.
I am not a fan of cilantro can it be eliminate or substituted?
Yes, you can skip and use other fresh herbs that you enjoy.
So delicious looking as always Mike. 👍
Thanks!! I appreciate it!

Your skateboard behind the cutting board. Hobie or Super Surfer? ( I made this bean salad for the third time tonight! So good! You rock! )
It's some generic board I found somewhere. I think it's gone now!
Im adding Tuna and olives. 🙂

I'm spooky about cilantro because it can take over.
Then go easy on it!
Trust me, I do!@@ChiliPepperMadness

What happened? I'm sorry to hear!!
@@ChiliPepperMadness Too sour/bitter
You can adjust some of the ingredients. Consider adding in a bit of honey to balance out any bitter flavors, or a bit more salt.
Theee bean salad three ways to destroy the toilet
Yikes! Sounds like you might have a personal issue. Might I suggest Imodium for your delicate tummy. =)
