The Calif. Zephyr in Ft. Morgan on 18DEC2024

Thuis morning's California Zephyr #5 arrived in Fort Morgan at 0613 MST (27 min. late). P42s #51 & #175 powered the typical 8-car trin to a stop with car 7 to the mid-station platform for passenger service to 2 detraining passengers and then 1 new patron joined the coach. The high ball was given and on a clear signal the Zephyr departed the station only to have a stop called to allow another passenger to detrain. That person can be seen in the later parts of the video walking back toward the platform. The Zephyr tried again to depart and did make it out of town headed for Union station in Denver.
