Great shave Cris I really like Nobel Otter soaps I have tried. I have used my new Brass Karve with the SB C plate twice in 2 days and I have never experienced any razor so smooth and efficient to be honest. I am getting B plate for the days I want a mild shave, wish I would have started with the Karve. Take care :)
Noble Otter, one of the best. Out of stock in UK. I want a few of their scents. The Hamami is soooo good 👍🏻. Tatara masamune is my favourite razor mild and super smooth, but gives an extremely close shave. Great shave, good bants 👍🏻
Looking to get Timeless OC stainless steel. Expensive so want to pick choices right. What Karve plate would the .95 and .68 correspond to? Any other razors you could compare them to? Trying to decide which Timeless option best for me.

Keep in mind Karve 20 mm knot on that brush it’s perfect why do I want a cloud on my face lol.. I contacted Heather directly and she shipped me the bowl for a lot less. The metal bowl Karve was selling I bought at The Super Store owned by Loblaws for 4.99. Kirchen bought a sh!t load of those bowls and I think he sold them for around $30. If I remember correctly. LOL
My favourite razor is also the Karve but with a Blackbird Stainless Steel and a Timeless Titanium .95 on the way, could it be toppled from the top spot?
@@AnotherCutAbove hopefully tone down the rough blade feel with a Voshkod blade but must say I'm a little concerned about it being too blade forward for me. Any preference with the Timeless.95 Stainless Steel or Titanium?
I never had the pleasure of titanium but I had a stainless .95 open comb and it was a lovely razor! Smooth but again too efficient and aggressive for daily shaves.
@@AnotherCutAbove did the .95 ever feel like you couldn't go on cruise control or do you have to have constant total focus to avoid cuts? Ever try the .68 OC? if so, how less efficient is it?
Speaking of bad soap makers, I was really disappointed with Captain's Choice soaps. Tried out 2 different soaps from them, 45th Parallel and Nor'easter, and they were both not good performers at all- very very big air bubbles even with plenty of water and time working the brush, next to no slickness, The soap would dissipate/thin out very fast after applying, and it dried out my skin something fierce. This just happened a couple months ago! Very saddened by this as I love their line of post-shave lotions and their lather bowls.
My simple answer is that it isn’t really. Same with PAA new and old base, big difference in price but both perform almost identically. I’ve been getting some amazing shaves with Wickham of late. I no longer have p&b as none of the scents held my interest.

You ever tried thé noir et vanille by noble otter? I love their base, I'm going to try and clear some stuff to make room for more of their scents
Yeah it’s a nice tea scent, sadly I’m not big into tea. But it’s a nice scent all the same!

how is the A plate? is it efficient enough for daily save or just touchups? big difference from b plate?
Not a huge difference from the b plate. Still efficient enough for me and is my go to plate on a regular basis. I do prefer mild shavers though.

.95 would be similar to a d or e plate. I haven’t use a .68 but I would be confident in saying it you be similar to the C plate.

I found the blackbird a very rough bladey shave but people seem to love it.
Timeless are great though, I had a .95 and it was great!
