one of the biggest aspects for "Earthlike" life, is that the planet needs to be with a "goldilock"zone, this allows for liquid water to be present with in an atmosphere
should try swapping Io or Europa with Earth and Mars. I did notice as well that Mars was doing some strange things as it was rotating around the sun. Was mor oblong because of the Moon interference. Pretty cool video tbh.
Full vid of on what if we had two suns? Curious about the state of the earth throughout but specifically regarding that close crossover with one of the suns before being shot back in the (fantastic and thought provoking) short you made? Please!!
Hey, just out of curiousity, can you make our sun have rings ? If it's not possible, replace it with a star that can have rings and see how it will effect our system. Or just do both, i dont mind :p
I'm going to do what I've never done before. I'm 36 seconds in and I'm gonna predict a few things. Let's see if I can get any correct. 1: The earth will start to get really cold. 2: Mars will get hot. 3: I think that something weird will happen to the orbits given enough time. Such as one of the orbits yearly rotations might slow or increase. Possible one of the orbits changes distance from the sun. Etc. Let's see if I'm a winner. I lost. 😭
i wonder how long it takes for the hot liquid core of the earth, to cool down and become so solid that the magnetic field generation stops. In this case there is no protection against the solar wind and the atmosphere gets blown away. curious if this is simulated as well.
Surely mars and earth are different in that one has a magnetic field to protect its atmosphere the other doesn’t . Adding atmosphere to mars , will be blown away by solar winds ..
Does this include the human equation? When you change things it seems like it doesn't carry over the human impact on the greenhouse effect. Maybe it starts as the earth is now which is heavily influenced by humanity but doesn't include any actions we would take if something changed. Any thoughts?
Quick question what percent of life on earth do we represent are we like 5% cause if so when you say 90% of life likely hood that would more then likely mean we won’t make it
A perfect example of what is engineering experimentation vs Theoretical... Literally jut twisting knobs with no idea of the result or application and then going wow, look what i got?!
If earth and marse swapped places? We'd all fall to our death while suffocating. because of how much less surface area the red planet has in comparison to earth.
To everyone saying “ the earth is dying, let’s colonize mars” the earths conditions will almostT never get as bad as the weather or tempatures on mars!😂
If the volcanism kicks in and levels of CO2 goes up, Earth could look better. Lots of CO2 would be realiesed to the atmosfere due to the green mass decay.
I don't agree, yes Mars does have weaker gravity but if the moon was moved closer to it. Mars should be able to hold it. To be blunt. If you are going to do this test. Then you need to make sure that you compensate the moons for the different levels of gravity. Again, the moons are apart of the system. If they are removed then it simply will not work. The Earth depends on the moon for it's magnetosphere. Without the moon, the Earths magnetic field will get weaker overtime. The freezing of Mars despite being closer to the sun makes no since. As it is getting more sun now. The only difference would be the two moons. They would help to generate some heat and a much weaker magnetosphere. Out of the habitual zone? That could be due to you switching them around. Mars does not have as much mass so if it is still moving at the same speed. The planet will move slowly away. Leaving the so called Goldilocks zone. Earth on the other hand would do the opposite. Considering the mass and speed of the orbit. Smaller objects that orbit larger ones will find a balance between the speed and pull. That is why the moon gets closer and then farther away from the Earth over thousands of years.
Why all these guys always forget to adjust moons speed and orbit radius? Because of that Mars moons will collide with earth and the Moon will fly away, obviously. Such a lazy approach.
Also maybe the moons would have made a big difference
We gotta get the planets lined up in alphabetical order, and let the madness begin.
No, no. What if Venus and Mars were swapped? Now, you're talkin'. There would be much more reason to try and go to the fourth planet.
This Chanel will die as soon as it's 1/2 price
Swap Mars and Venus.
Edit: Also, moons have a big factor. Removing Earths moon hurt its chances.

I just found your chanel last night. I love your 'what happens if' space videos!❤
Love these videos please make so many more as I’m recovering from an operation and you don’t know how much this passes the time for me
Watch some podcats lad
Moon in relation to Mars has probably slowed it down somewhat, sending it on a wider orbit, which is why it froze over
Dont understand gravity do you

earth needs its moon
I enjoy your shorts, but came here literally to find out what you are using lmao
What if you just added an atmosphere to mars but kept it in its original position in the solar system

Wouldn't the Mars year need to be longer to make up for the slight loss of mass in comparison to Earth to sustain the same orbit?
How do you do these simulations ?
Universe Sandbox.
Hello , newbie here, what software/website does he use ?
Can you add specific gases to an atmosphere, like Carbon dioxide for example?
The extra nitrogen/oxygen isn’t doing much for earth’s heat retention
@much adventure what app do you use for the videos
Mate swap Mars ans Venus
Now swap our moon for Europa
Please what is the website that you use?
universe sandbox 2
Interesting content, reminds me of space chip
Thank you for the name of the game was wondering that for so long 0:42
Could you please tell me the name of this app please. I love space and many other stuff including space and just the sky
Try colliding two star systems and see if we get a two star system or a bigger star with bigger planets
that would lead to a super nova there will be no stars no planets just a massive explosion destroying everything in its way

Why did the poles melt first? On mars i.e.
Where did this ol boy go? I could've missed it, but from what I can tell, he hasn't uploaded anything in the last 7 months.

Earth being in position of Mars, no moon and much colder. Yet, still livable? Maybe, but it would be much, much more rough to survive.
Great video. Fun. Keep it up

How does mars freeze when its closer to the sun? But yet stay thawed when it further away?
Weak atmosphere
Mars could have held the moon. Just not at the orbital speed it was going when orbiting earth.
fun vids, don't need the music though
Can you make Mars's life expectancy 100%?
(At it's own orbit)
Universe Sandbox 2? But the first one is in Early Access and there's no second one on Steam? I'm confused
That's pretty cool

Nobody says the name of software 😢
Earth would get less than half the sunlight it gets now & would look like Europa

Would the tides created by the Moon prevent Earths oceans freezing completely?
Name of this program please

What is you swapped the moon and Mars like Mars becomes a massive moon for earth
Damn, you are like Dr. Who.
mars a little extra atmosphere.. you gave it a million times what it had
amazing dude
