Thanks for the review. I am definitely thinking about the 10. Toss it in the SUV and I can drop into 20 places that boats can't reach in 20 minutes from my house.
Thanks for the video. Im thinking about getting a slayer. How about the rudder, I have to drag alot with my paddle kayaks and am concerned about the rudder placement on the slayers. What do you think?
I was likewise concerned about the rudder when it was new. I called the dealer and they assured me the rudder was designed to take the abuse. So, I don't hesitate to drag it when launching, although I only pull on sand or grass; no gravel or hard surface. The abuse includes pulling the kayak from the truck and dropping the rudder on the ground where it takes all the weight of the kayak on the rudder and collapses to one side of the other. I ignore it and continue to march. I suppose it may shorten the rudder's life but only time will tell. I cannot imagine a better kayak for fishing (excluding the Hobie series if you are willing to forego reverse pedaling). I personally would not give up reverse.
sorry for the delay in getting back to you. i do not think anything is better. specifically, the native has a prop drive powered by bicycle-like pedals. go forward by rotating "that" way and backward by rotating "the other" way; no help needed. The hands are never required to set reverse. so... i think the hobie pro angler is probably a better fishing set-up but would never consider trading my native for it or anything else. hobie is working on something but not sure what it is. the slayer has put every other manufacturer in the catch-up mode. for me, pedal drive, hands free is the only consideration.
GREAT idea using the pencil holders as storage for small stuff. I was looking for a cheap storage solution, and I think that is it.
Godo vídeo !!! I am from Brazil !

Thanks, that is comforting to hear. So you think the Hobie's are better?
