Honestly just commit to the character they are not looking for the finished product! At urdang they have extra classes for foreign students to help with accents so they don’t expect you to know everything now xx
Would recommend doing a comedy for drama school auditions? I almost always go for emotional scenes but i love doing comedy and I feel more confident with it. But then if they want to see that pure emotion then I would do an emotional one!!

I know it’s years later but I have an audition in two days and my monologue I’m unsure on as it has swearing and I don’t want to contact the uni as I feel like it’s too late now and they are going to think I’m underprepared because I am, as I’ve been ill and have had no motivation recently. At the same time that I feel monologues have certain words in them because they're needed, for example, to give off a specific emotion, I am kind of scared to swear in front of the audition panel. best of luck with your auditions! That shouldn't be a problem as long as it's not an unnecessary amount. So many of my friends monologues had swearing in it and remember the panel knows it's the play writes words are that you are just staying true to them! hope that helps a but xx

Hmmmm I’m not sure it was my friend who had it and I think she got it from a library! The national theatre library would probably have it but obviously it’s closed at the moment! Sorry that wasn’t more helpful xx

The audition isn’t a memory test! Try to cover it up and just skip a bit but If it goes really wrong just ask the panel nicely if you could start again. Most of the time they will say yes!

I would say just try and go for it! It’s always better to go too far and have to pull it back then not go far enough!
