This was such a good watch and Aaron looks like an awesome person to work with, definitely very focused but easy going and talented. Really digging this bands sound and they’ve gained a new fan!
Fun video production, & song production guys! It was incredible watching Aaron work on this thing with you guys. I don't know how I ended up on this video, but you guys just got a new fan! Leggoooo
"That's a good producer"... "no.... it's not. " hahaha I love his honesty. This is the side of Aaron we all needed to see. Heck yeah. Still my favorite drummer
I understand what he said about spencer with singing and screaming. My warmup will effect my range. Lower singing will open up my false chords more, while higher singing tends to keep things tighter than I like it. I can vocal fry after higher vocals, but I like having my repertoire open. Best warm ups are singing some He Is Legend
saw the teaser of this vid on ig, came here and holy shit... It's really cool to see the whole production of how a song is made. more bands should do this for their tracks. Also this song fucking SLAPS! been listening this on repeat along with other tracks you guys have on spotify. great job Aaron and the whole band on producing this. Hope Nygma blows up and tours the world. would love to see you guy live.
@Grimreaper420ful Absolutely! Cult Noir and Alexander Nevermind are both mixed and mastered by the same people. Mastered by MACHINE i.e., ETID, Lamb of God, the list goes on. Very grateful to get to work with such talented people.
Here we can see in action all the skills he learned throughout the years making records. To be able to do this (in a day!) requires years of training! Thanks for this video!

They loose sight of the Lord. Choose to please men rather than God. I was never a big fan of the band. It's super sad tho to see how each of those guys in that band went downhill so fast
Imagine getting a legend like Aaron Gillespie to produce your song, only to be so self-absorbed you sit on your phone and don’t sing when he is instructing you to do so…whoever that is in your band is the weak link fellas. Has the pompous rockstar mentality when know one really knows who is. Smh.
I really hope those aren't the final lyrics. Sounds like every midwest teenage hardcore band in 2007. Also I think Aaron needs more sleep, and a lot less alcohol. Respectfully.
Sounds like a teenage hardcore band from 2007? Was that supposed to be an insult? It fucking rips and we like it that way. Kinda weird a grown ass DAD is passing judgment on other grown ass men online. Respectfully.
super cheesey. he swears and talks like a grade schooler. im not a christian anymore so lets talk like an elementary kid. the tim guy sounds the same. woah to the man that giveth his neighbor strong drink. life with purpsoe to a waste

Aaron giving major jack black school of rock vibes here 😅
😂😂😂

I thank the TH-cam algorithm for bringing me here. Incredible song. Will be following you guys moving forward.

This is literally myself when I'm tracking drums and keyboards, I'm all over the place. Aaron gillespie is one of my favorite drummers.
This video is awesome. Aaron is badass and love his style of production. Pretty cool song as well. Id love to see more in the studio stuff!
You can tell Aaron is imparting some golden nuggets in that studio session.
That was dope. Aaron is a legend. Sick song too, first time hearing these guys.

Welcome to the Nygma family!

The drums sound sooo good on this song. Everything else as well but hope this mastering continues on to the other tracks.

I believe you could buy he's drums through Mixwave. Pretty sure that is what he is using on here.

This is so sick. Song is great but watching how it came together is a real treat.

The importance of "Hold that note" !!! 😅🙏
Damn. Aaron was hard at work. What a genius. Cult Noir rips, boys. Congrats! 🔥

It’s like if Every Time I Die, Underoath, and Norma Jean had a baby that was born with a Like Moths to Flames tattoo on its little forearm 🎉🎉🎉
I remember when Aaron played at my church in 2011 (watch it in my videos!!) Man I miss THAT guy!!! 😢
That was INCREDIBLE!!!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this
Aaron is a fkn magician

"music is like a butthole, everyone has one" - AARON
Our drummer wants that quote on a shirt haha
🔥🔥🔥🦂🦂🦂🔥🔥🔥
Man this makes me miss making music so much.
Let this be your sign to start making music again!
What is the song in the intermission??? Just as fire as cult noir
It’s giving Norma-Øath and the Sons of Disaster
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Maybe the best comment ever hahaha.
Incredible
So dope! Was Aaron programming midi drums on this track or did he play em on the kit?
Please answer!!!
Yo! He used his signature sample library.
@@NygmaNoiseno shit eh! Sounds great! Song rips too! Congratulations!
Has underoath brought em on tour?
We wish! 😂
these guys have a real letlive feel

What gear did he use for that guitar tone?
based
this looks fun as shit
20:23 lol, I also chin sit on my sm7b. thats hilarious
hahahah!
does anyone know the song that plays right at the end of the intermission just before burnie sings?
I'll try to find out.
Anybody know what desk this is??
We don’t.
@@NygmaNoise no worries - the song turned out sick! Following you guys 🤙🏼
@@Cwhite.tx23 Thank you so much! That means more than you know.
What’s the song on the intro
It’s just a sample we found. No real song.
@@NygmaNoise incredible
Did he use plugins for the guitar tone ?
I honestly am not sure. Will have to ask Burnie and get back to you.
How did yall get aaron to feature?
He’s a friend of our label.
Was this at his studio in Salt Lake City?
Nope! He moved to Nashville.
is seth green hanging out with the band?
Haha no! Thats our buddy Collin who does all of our keys.
!
Whats the name of the band?
Nygma
Like the riddler from Batman - (Edward) Nygma
Aaron looks rough man. His eyes are telling. He is holding back some heavy stuff.
it's called alcoholism
It's called being a dad, husband, & working full-time to provide for his family.
Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
