Trying to keep the pattern of one a week. Also trying my hand at the #youtubeshorts, but it's not as important as the main videos. Carefule when freshening up the grill, I was told I did it wrong by sanding off the anodizing. Given the status of my grill (bent and broken fins), I didn't think I was in jeopardy of hurting the value of my car by sanding it. However, if you're going for a numbers-matching, full restoration, you may want to look into getting it re-anodized. :)
Good job ! I'm definitely doing mine :) hey I have a question..I saw a pic of a 65 that had a cover between the grill and the radiator support... it looked really good.. have u seen anything like that.?
What Shade of black paint did you use for a 1966 Mustang Grille I have been told Saturn Black and semi-gloss black and semi Flat. DO you know which it should be? I have a Shelby GT 350 HERTZ Thanks Ron
You’ve been pumping out the vids! Great work! Gonna freshen up my grill now

Thank you. I have not, but I'd be interested in what that looks like if you find one.

The paint was just your basic satin black from a hardware store. I think it was Rustoleum 2X, that had a primer and paint all-in-one. :)
thanks for the video, do you know where to find the plate connecting R & L molding pieces when pony emblem removed?
Thanks!
You might be able to find used parts on Ebay. New parts might be at National Parts Depot or CJ Pony Parts.
you cheated..
The hard part is the silly "Pony in coral" is a pain to remove..
yours was already off :P
Surprisingly it wasn't that hard to take off for me, maybe the previous owner had removed it and reinstall it in a way to make it easy? :)
